Description of 1949 Ford F-100

1949 F-1 ratrod for sale out of Meridian, D 83642. LOW RESERVE!!!
This is a very close to done ratrod project with awesome red white and blue patina. 1949 F-1 body on a running 1997 Ford Ranger chasis, ngine and complete running gear. 1997 Ford Ranger body was taken off, ut left the engine bolted down and everything else in place. Then lots custom fabrication done to permanently mount the 1949 F-1 body onto the 1997 Ford Ranger frame. The 1997 Ford ranger was running and driving perfectly before this transplant operation was done, nknown miles, ut it was running and driving with no known issues. There has been hundreds of hours already poured into getting the truck this far and it's almost done. The owner lost his job in Idaho and had to move to Texas unexpectedly in very short time, hich resulted in him having to hire me to just sell the truck as is before it was completed due to his personal circumstance. The 1997 Ranger is a 4.0 V6 fuel injected engine, isc brakes in the front, rums in the rear, tandard 5 speed transmission, wd, tock suspension. With this project you get the best of both worlds! This pickup comes with all parts to complete except a seat, lass, nd boards for the bed.
Things that need to still be completed to make it a street legal driver:
  • New seat installed (you need to find one yourself, oesnt come with one) (ratrod seat should cost no more than $100)
  • Gas pedal hooked up (free, omes with pedal)
  • Wiring harness installed, ew wires ran to headlights, ailights, tc. (free, omes with the wiring harness from the 1997 Ford Ranger)
  • All new glass needs to be installed (this should be around $600 if you hire a pro glass company to do it for you)
  • Put some old barn wood over the bed frame in the back. (could be free if you look in the free area of craigslist)
  • Personally, f it were me, fter everything else was done on the truck, 'd order some brand new wheels and tires off of Coker Tire's website. I would have them pre-powder coat the wheels red and get aweseome whitewall tires.
I made a quick video of this truck. I mention in the video the donor truck is a 1995 Ford Ranger, ut in fact it is a 1997 Ford Ranger, lease excuse that mistake in the video. This truck is titled as a 1951 Ford F-1 because that is the year of the cab and that is what the title is from, he front end is a 1949 and that's what the truck looks like. There is the original VIN plate on the cab under the hood that completely matches what is on the clean Idaho title. There is a table full of parts seen in the pictures that will come with the truck to complete it; a lot of the parts you might not use, ut it will come with the truck anyway just in case. This is a legit project that was being purpose built as a reliable daily driver ratrod and was not intended to be sold, ut unfortunate life circumstances happen and it is being sold as an almost done project, s is. Serious bidders can call me, can send specific pictures upon request.
