Description of 1977 Ford E-Series Van E250

"No Reserve"
This is a 13 years old off frame restoration/build. Every nut and bolt has been taken apart and everything was sand blasted. I have a large binder of pictures to show the process, nd progress of work. I also have a box of all of thereceipts. The van was made into a 4X4 at this time, nd built with the intentions of the van being used. This was not built for show. It was built to run down the road regardless of conditions, nd has served the family well. The odometer was set to zero when it was all finished, nd now has almost 50,000 miles on it. The 4 wheel drive was set up as low as possible, nd you will notice that is several inches lower then other conversion vans. The front end is a Dana 44, ut the rear end is a Dana 60. The rear end also has an Air Locker, nd Air Over Loads, lus Air Ride Seats. Everything is controlled with an onboard compressor, nd switch in the dash for the Air Locker, nd switches and gauges for the Air Over Loads are also in the dash.
The van was also fully insulated before the carpeted panels covered everything. There is also rear heat/air conditioner which has always kept everything comfortable. The bed is set up with storage underneath it. Like I said this van was set up to travel, nd pull what ever toy you wanted. The motor is a bored and stroked 460 out to a 504. Ported and CCed heads. Roller cam and rockers, nd the list goes on. This is not a race end though. This engine was designed for pulling torque with the cam starting off from idle, nd finishing at about 3,800 rpms. You do not run this engine like a small block. The automatic transmission is a C6 professionally built to handle the torque of this big engine, nd has never given us any problems. I believe the axle gearing is around 3.53. It will cruise down the freeway at 75 to 80 mph with the engine taching about 2,800, hich this engine will do all day long. Engine does leak a little oil now. I would say it leaks about a quart every 800 miles to be honest. I have never seen any smoke come from the pipes, o I don't think it is really using it, ust loosing it. Just trying to be honest. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere though, nd for the right price I will even drive it to you.
The front doors are power locked, nd have power windows. It also has cruise control and a very nice sound system with CD player, mp, nd woofers. It even has a power antenna, ut I'm not sure if it works anymore. It's been a long time since the stereo has been on. The motor has a very nice sounding exhaust that we all enjoy listening to instead. Again just being honest. There is a little bit of surface rust from rock chips which I feel is normal for a vehicle with 50,000 miles. A lot of those miles were acquired from going back and forth from Oregon to South Dakota. If you have any questions, r would like to see more pictures let me know. If you want pictures of the receipt box, r photo album just ask. This van was built for adventure and exploring. MPG has been 8 to 10. Dad has a lead foot and got 8, was able to get around 10 with it locally. I have to pay for commercial insurance for work, o I try to avoid tickets. Dad doesn't care, nd his gray hair lets him get away with more. LOL!
Again ask me any question, nd I will give you an honest answer. I have nothing to hide, nd want who ever buys to feel comfortable calling me after the sale.
