Description of 1988 Ford Mustang

I am putting up my 88 Mustang Coupe for auction. Please ask any question you may have. I will gladly answer them and if any additional photos are needed get those as well. About the the little coupe. I purchased this car from a fella in Connecticut and had it shipped to me here in Oklahoma. Car was said to have only 13000 miles on it when I purcgased it. It now has around 15500 and will go up slightly as I drive the car on nice days to work. I believe the miles to be accurate as the condition of the car supports the mileage. I have had a few fox bodies over the years and all were low mileage cars. This car like those represents well. I bought this car for a driver until I could find its replacement as I was looking for a low mileage GTS Mustang. I have found that car and will not need this car after I pick up the 1995 model. About the car: The coupe is in great shape. runs and drives well. The only upgrades or modifications are the addition of the cobra replica wheels. a eibach lowering kit with springs and the eibach shorter struts and shocks. Has Maximum Motorsports Caster plates and 1988 5. 0 sway bars. As per the pictures they should give any potiontial buyer a good idea of the condition of the car. Interior is in great shape and is as red as mustang made it. This has grown on me however I was not a fan at first to say the least. Interior is in very above average shape. Body is in good shape. paint is in very good condition as well. The car has a small dent behind the drivers side door running verticle to the vehicle(picture below). Was there when purchased. also has some normal chips on lower body from road debris. Has one chip below the drivers mirror that needs touched up if you want a near perfect car( picture below ). In one of the pictures you can see some asphalt tar lower drivers side rear. I haven't had a good chance to remove it but it will and should come off with some diesel or tar remover. Drivers door has some nicks to the rear potion of the glass frame. looks like careless handling of the door while wearing rings. Everything works on the car as it should. A/C is in perfect working order. Car is a 2. 3 four cylinder and be that it runs well and does good on fuel its very slow and does not have the power of the 5. 0 cars of the era. Shortly after I bought this car I found a turbo coupe thunderbird parts car ( can be included with sale to winning bidder ) and had long term plans of a five speed turbo four cylinder swap but ended up finding my more desirable car before that could take place. Car would be a great 5. 0 or turbo swap as you can't even get close to building one for the money that they are bringing these days if the need body work and paint. The only thing that I don't like about the car is it was and is under coated from the dealer. When that was done they also applied the coating to the inner engine bay. I bought it to drive and enjoy as it is a nice car. Please take time and look over the pictures. if you need additional photos please ask and I will get then up. Keep in mind this is a very nice car and in above average condition per my opinion. it is not perfect and it has been driven.
