This truck has the best of old world hotrod with the couple modern driveline touches to make it a turn key and drive right down the interstate at comfortable highway speeds. The driveline is a hotrod Flathead V8 complete with a EXTREMELY RARE LATHAM SUPERCHARGER. This is coupled to a 1984 Ford Pickup 3-Speed manual transmission with overdrive and a Ford 9" rear with 3.50 rear gears. The end result is a truck that you can easily cruise 70mph+ with absolutely no issues. This truck is an absolute blast to drive ! There has been 1565 miles driven on this truck since it was frame off restored in 2007. The amount of work and time that went into this truck to bring it to the condition you see here is unbelievable. Countless hundreds and hundreds of hours spent on the craftsmanship and executing the design seen in the end result here is true professional quality work. No expense was spared here. All receipts are in hand for this truck for the entire restoration. Please take the time to look over all 24 photos that I have here. The underneath of this truck is as clean and perfect as the top of the truck. I have more photos of the truck should any prospective buyer want them. Just call and ask for them. I also welcome and encourage an in person viewing of this truck by appointment by any prospective buyer. Feel free to give me a call and set up an appointment to come see it. I have in hand a clean Pennsylvania title for this truck. It is titled as a 1934 FORD and mileage is listed as exempt on the title as many older vehicles in Pennsylvania are. Following is an extensive complete breakdown of the entire truck.BODY & FRAME:This 1934 Ford truck has been a Pennsylvania truck it's entire life residing in Lehighton PA. It was purchased from the original owner's family in 2006 as a barn find. It was a rust free, ll steel truck. The entire truck was taken apart. The stock frame was retained. It is clean, hiny, erfect and polished gloss black. The stock front axle assembly with spring liner in spring was also used and again perfect and shiny black. There is tube shocks with all brackets being bolted to frame. The brakes are 1956 Ford F100 front brake backing plates and brake drums. Rear brakes are factory ford units equipped on the 9" rear with new brake drums. Rear end uses original Buggy Spring. Wheels are 15" Front wheels are 15"X 5 - 5-1/2 chrome with radial tire size 195/70-15. Rear wheels are 15"X 6 - 5-1/2 chrome with radial tire size 235/75-15. The end result is a truck that sits just right with the proper stance. Body of this truck is in outstanding condition. Doors shut solidly. Body is straight and smooth. Bed is shortened with natural Ashwood bed installed. There is an access door at rear of bed for fuel filling. A new Bob Drake gas tank was installed as well. Again the pictures tell the story here.DRIVELINE:The driveline of this truck is the true gem here. A 1950 Ford Flathead V8 was picked for the job. It was completely rebuilt and balanced with a high volume oil pump. A Latham "Axial Flow" Supercharger was then added to the motor with 2 Carter YH carburetors. Real car guys know what a Latham Supercharger is. For one try to even find one ! Original ones are almost impossible to obtain. They were only built from 1956 until 1965. This particular one is model 7.0 serial # 105. An old school flathead with a supercharger ! Vintage hotrod cool ! Exhaust is dual exhaust with Red's headers. The transmission used here was a 1984 Ford Pickup transmission 3-Speed manual with overdrive and hydraulic clutch assembly. The overdrive works great. Easy highway cruising speeds. The rearend used was a Ford 9" rear with 3.50 rear gears. Driveline has also been upgraded with a 12-Volt system. There is a 1956 Ford Generator, nd a 12-volt electric fan for the radiator. The radiator was also recored and renewed.INTERIOR:Instruments are Stewart Warner. There is also an Auto Meter tachometer. Turn signals were added. The steering wheel is a 1940 Ford Standard steering wheel. The 12 volt system is fed through an American Auto Wire fuse panel. All wires in friction tape loom. Wiper was upgraded to a electric wiper motor. The seat has been professionally upholstered in gray. The seat moves forward and back and also seat back tilts forward with storage pockets behind seat. Carpet is gray as well. Battery resides under floor. The original standard plunger style pedals were removed. Modern suspended clutch and brake pedals were used for much better operation and extra room. Also adding to a much cleaner styled interior.TERMS OF SALE:Please check my 100% positive feedback and buy with confidence. After reading this entire description and checking out all the pictures, eel free to ask any and all questions. Best way of reaching me is with a phone call. I am looking for a straight clean sale here. I am NOT interested in trades of any kind. Terms of sale are as follows. A funds in hand sale is the most preferred and encouraged method of completing the sale. This way you can pay for and leave with the truck and processed title. The title will be properly processed by a Pennsylvania notary into the new owners name. There will be no exceptions to this. Again a funds in hand sale is the most preferred, ncouraged and accepted method of completing the sale. A bank wire transfer is also acceptable for the purchase, owever it will have to completely clear the bank and funds be made available in hand before the truck and title will be released. If a buyer requests shipping it will be their financial responsibility. Now to be clear on this point I will explain this very simply. I live in Pennsylvania. If you live 3000 miles away from me then it will be expensive to ship the truck to you. That does not affect the value of this truck in any way and it does not make the truck worth a penny less. If you live 5 miles away from me does that make this truck worth more? Of course not. So with that said, hipping is what it is. It is the cost to move freight from point A to point B. So with that said don't complain to me about shipping costs. You will have to take that matter up with your shipper. What I have here is a truck for sale and that is the topic at hand. I have accurately and honestly described this truck to the best of my ability. I am looking forward to an easy honest and clean sale here and to put a spectacular truck into the buyers hands. I am very easy to work with and I am making these points known about the sale so there is no surprises during the sale. Also to be extremely clear with the buyer this truck is sold in AS-IS condition. There is no expressed, mplied, ritten or spoken warranty or guarantee of any kind whatsoever. The day that you buy the truck it then becomes your truck. There is no refunds or rebates of any kind whatsoever. If you the prospective buyer have any questions on the condition or integrity of this truck, hen you call me to make an appointment during the auction duration to come see the truck in person. This way you can answer any questions that you may have. All questions on this truck will be answered before and not after the sale. I look forward to a pleasant sale.
