Description of 1966 Ford Fairlane

Fuzzy Dice AutosHas up for auction a completely unmolested total survivor "one-Owner" fully documented 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible with 42. 34 original miles! We at Fuzzy Dive have sold many survivor classics over the years but none quite as original as this one. The car came to us from it's original owner. Along with the car came it's original Bill of Sale. the original manual and other documents showing the progression of the odometer through the years. The Pennsylvania title reflects the correct documented mileage. The body is in incredible condition for an unrestored car. The "never painted" finish does show its 39 years of age. But having said that. there is absolutely not one hint of rust anywhere. The car was always garaged kept and according to the owner. was hardly if ever driven in the rain. The floor and trunk pans are excellent. As are the quarters and all of the other metal parts. The original trunk liner is in excellent shape. The body does have it's minor chips and two noticeable small dents. One on the corner of the trunk lid and the other on the lower rear driver's side quarter panel. We could surely have had those minor defects professionally repaired at little expense. but then the we couldn't make the claim that it is a truly unmolested car. The under carriage is equally as solid and damage free. (Photos can be supplied to those serious buyers)The convertible top was never changed and still looks presentable. The automatic top goes up and down with ease. The interior is immaculate. The seats. door panels. carpeting. dash and gauge package are all excellent and also totally original to the car. Everything including the original radio and cigarette lighter work perfectly. The car is equipped with the factory optioned heater. power steering and remote mirror control. The car has the original convertible boot and boot bag. Also the jack equipment and the jack instruction sticker. The original V8. 289 numbers matching motor runs perfectly smooth and quiet. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The car drives straight down the road with no blow back and stops on a dime. I would not hesitate driving her anywhere and often! So if you're looking for an unrestored gorgeous survivor 66 Fairlane. then your search is over. Unlike other classic car dealers who photograph their cars in professionally lighted studios or on Hollywood driveways. we at Fuzzy Dice shoot our cars on our lot using on a point and shoot camera. No photo shop here. What you see is what you get. We anticipate many inquiries on this vehicle so please don't hesitate to contact us with whatever you need. The very best of luck bidding!
