Description of 1950 Ford Other

1950 FORD CUSTOM 2DR.SEDAN
Up for sale is a 1950 Ford 2-dr Custom sedan. I'm guessing that this car was put together in the 60's - 70's. The person that I purchased it from said that he purchased it from someone that had it stored for over 25 years in a heated, ry warehouse in New York City. He brought it home, ot it running and realized that it wasn't his type of car. It sat for a year and I purchased it. The dry rotted tires were replaced by new whitewall radials.
It's obvious that this was a higher dollar build back in the day!!It has the V-8 flathead engine (not sure of the horsepower) with a 3 speed column shift.
Under the hood is a "old school" modified flathead. It has Edelbrock heads, n Offenhauser aluminum manifold with dual Stromberg carbs!! Not to mention the real deal mural on the firewall !!It has working side pipes too.
Outside, nbsp;it has a partially customized front end, renched headlights and taillights, nside hood release, nside trunk release, louvered hood and peep mirrors. The interior is crushed velour with buttons, ower seat, erfect headliner and a ton of scrollwork.
After I purchased it, changed fluids, rained gas tank and did a satin white paint job. (I was able to save the mural on the trunk) I had it re-flamed as well.I have the front bumper as well but, didn't like the way it looked. (just my opinion)
The gas pedal linkage is sloppy (I have a new Billet pedal and cable kit included), ipers and gas gage dont work and the front brakes need adjusting.
It was converted to 12 volt. All lights, irectionals, tc work fine !! Other than that....drive it anywhere !!It runs and drives great !!
Title (transferrable NYS registration) in hand.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions (except what my reserve is !!)
