1968 Ford Mustang S-Code Coupe- You are viewing a 1968 Ford Mustang S-Code Coupe. This is not your ordinary 68 coupe, his is a rare Non-GT S-Code coupe. This carwas ordered special this way by original owner, his 68mustang originally came as a sunlitgold coupe with a black vinyl top with black interior with center console. This car was ordered with afactory 390V8 4V Engine backed with an automatic C6 Trans and a 9in rearend. This car comes with some rarevalue, s the marti report states this car is 1 of 1300 made with this drivetrain options all in a non-gt car. Most of your S-Code cars came ordered as GT models. Here are some of the specifics on the car:Ext: There has been 1 repaint on the car done some years ago so it is showing fading and wear, here are a few areas of rust on the car, ne is the passanger side rear quarter will need replaced, he drivers side floor has some rust through area's and will need a replacement panel put in. Under the vinyl top there is some surface rust developing. Other than that the car is in solid shape, ll areas of concern have been treated with a rust coating to prevent further damage. Car has a good set of dog dish mustang hubcaps with tires that hold air and have good tread. All glass is in good shape, o damage. All lights work great as well as electrical functions. Engine/Drivetrain: The engine in the car is the crown jewel. The original 390 runs very well, o major leaks or wear, eems to run very strong, ould use some tune up items added but as an original engine it is in great shape, acking the engine up is a strong C6 select shift cruise-o-matic trans. Finishing up the drivetrain is a solid 9 in rear axle. All is good working order, ecently added were new brake shoes to the front of the car. Interior: The interior of the car is in very original shape, he bucket seats have a few tears in them, ostly the drivers seat. The car will need a new headliner and new carpet, enter console is in good restorable shape, verything is there, nterior is in need of a good refresh but is complete.
