This auction is for a factory 1966 Mustang GT Coupe. I am a collector of early 60's Mustangs and I am downsizing my collection of cars and offering one for sale.For sale is a 1966 Mustang GT coupe project. Why buy a GT? As a GT collector myself. It is due to the steady apperication of early 60's GT Mustang's. While any mustang can be restored the final appraisal value increases 30% to 40% with the addition of GT package and the addition of any options you add. The Mustang I listed is an factory A Code gt and is the most popular color combination to have. This is a factory4 Barrel 4 speedcoupe andfactorysignal fire redwith standardblackinterior.(per the original door tag) This is a very desirable color combination car to sell or keep that is a GT four speed car. I will switch out the non original bucket seats that are 1968 ones to a good set of 1965-6 bucket seats for the buyer to cover. It's currently rolling and steeringshell with no brakes or driveshaft. It does comes with a core drivetrain in it but the car and motor will need fully restored. It has rust in the usual spots in the Floorpans and thin metal areas, ll the bolt on panels, ut has good frame rails and rockers to weld to. The drivetrain in it is not the original one and is a 2 barrel automatic that doesn't turn over with a wrench.Its sitting in it not hooked up but is a period correct 13/16 spark plug motor for you to free up or build.The motor did turn over with a wrench two years ago but it's currently sold as a core motor that doesn't. The car ismissing the front disc brakes but has the holes drilled where the 1966 factory portioning valve came factory.It's got the correct gt dual exhaust reinforcement brackets under the rear seat. The correct factoryfog light switch is still in the dash where it belongs. The factory holes are present in the radiator support for the fog light wiring. The original 8 inch rear end is missing but it has a big tube 9 inch rear end in from a 1967 to 69 with 3.00 open gears. ( per the tag) This is a good car to build over the winter or to use as parts car for your solid coupe. The car is mostly complete and located in Pace Florida just north of Pensacola. The buyer is responsible for pickup of this car and transport but I will help you or your transport company load it. ( for a in the U.S sale or overseas sales transport company) The car comes with a set of black roller rims with used tiresthat hold air on it for when you pick it up. The buyer is responsible for 500.00 deposit within48hours at the end of the auction and cash transfer within10days from the end of the auction. The car comes with a Alabama registration from the mustang shop I got it from and open bill of sales. Thats all you need to title it in any state from a non title state such as Alabama. ( ask your DMV if you are concerned) Its also all you need if you want to ship it overseas.
