Description of 1966 Ford F-100

Up for bid here is a 1966 Ford truck 2 wheel drive and from what I can tell is all original. It is the custom cab with all the chrome trim, rill and custom dash and instrument panel. The V-8 engine and transmission were re-built awhile back and has less than 10,000 miles on it since.I bought this truck a couple of years ago for my dad but now he's in his eighties and not driving plus I haven't had time to restore it. The truck runs and drives well, as a 3-speed on the column. I drove it some when I first acquired it and have cranked it every couple of weeks just to keepeverything moving. I've had the bench seat recovered with original material and have two brand new front floor pans that go with it along with the one chrome piece that was missing off thetruck when I got it. The brakes were working up until a few months ago. I don't know if one of the wheel cylinders went bad or the fluid drained from the master cylinder. The tires are pretty worn. Some rust but manageable. Front gate is bent in the center and rusted where it joins the floor. Most of these trucks rust there for some reason but no holes in bed. Bed is solid. Fuel gauge doesn't work but everything else did up until it was parked. Clear Virginia title as I never got it swapped over since I was planning to to restore it. Feel free to ask any questions and look closely at the pictures. Keep in mind the floor pans go with this truck but aren't pictured. Truck will need to be trailered to its destination. Deposit of $500.00 through paypal within 24 hours auction end. Balance in cash or cashiers or certified check upon pickup. I'm easy to work with so no hurry about picking it up and if you wish to make other arrangements just contact me. Most of the discoloration you see on the truck is flaking paint or the red showing through. The truck was originally red and was painted two tone blue at some point. A lot of the paint is wearing off and the red is showing through. The frame is really solid and truck is equipped with a reece hitch.
