Ford’s 1941 models underwent a complete redesign. Gone was the “pointed prow” that had characterized the make since 1937. It was replaced with what designer E.T. Gregorie called a more “horizontal effect,” which was in tune with what other automakers were using. Ford now had three series, he Special, he DeLuxe, nd the Super DeLuxe. The convertible model was offered only as a Super Deluxe model.
This Super DeLuxe Convertible was completely restored just over three years ago. At that time, he car received a new coat of black paint and a new top and interior, nd the dashboard also received new wood-grain paint.
