1966 FORD F-100

NO RESERVE

Thanks for checking out "Charles" my 1966 Ford F100. I absolutely love these trucks, ery hard to find in this condition, his will make a great truck for someone to use as a daily driver or restore down the road. These are awesome trucks, ou don't see them often, retty rare these days. I have sold many of these trucks Internationally, hey did not get rigs like this, nd they have become very sought after in Europe and Australia. I am a Ford guy in general, nd honestly would love to keep this one as a shop truck, ut don't really need to add anything at the moment, rying to thin the heard. I love the look of a nice honest stock truck, othing fancy, ost of them have been made in to low riders or hot rods, nd just used and abused. Please check out the photos, harles is a solid truck, echanically in great shape, nd very good body. Give me a call if you want to discuss it more. Thanks, ason 503-910-2085

Condition: Itwas used like many of trucks, span>that is why Ford built them, hey are tough pickups. It is pretty obvious that this truck has not been abused, ust used and cared for. The bed is in great shape, few dents in the bed wheel wheels but overall a great bed. It has been repainted most likely a few times, riginally Ragoon Red. This is not a restored truck, ust a vintage truck that someone took care of over the years. When they repainted it a long time ago, hey changed the color to blue. The good thing is if you want to bring it back to red one day, hey did not paint under the hood or door jams, hat is original red paint, o you can get a good idea of the structure of this truck, lus you could leave the jams red, o makes work a lot easier. Very few bubbles on this truck, couple small ones on front of hood, nd very minor ones on bottom corner of one door, nd minor on the bottom of the cabs, ut overall very clean, oof gutter is clean no rust. Honestly this is one of the most solid vintage F100 trucks in this vintage I have seen in a while. Paint is old, nd losing its luster, ou can see were some of the blue flaked off around trim and such, ut at the end of the day, ou may want to paint it again down the road, o take it to the next level, ut for now it looks good, nd you can drive it and enjoy, aybe even bring it to a few weekend cruise nights and enjoy yourself. The paint I am guessing is over 20 years old, ad scratches, hips etc. The undercarriage is in great shape there are lots of photos of underneath, ice floors, ome very small pin holes but very minor. The corners of the cab, nderneath you can see a little rust forming, ut it is hidden and could be fixed easily. The frame is in great shape, o signs of rust, r repairs, don't think this truck ever carried any heavy loads, as a great stance, racks good down the highway. The general chrome on the truck, as pitting and age to it. The side molding is in great shape, ard to find these trucks with this molding in this condition, eeds to be restored. I believe this truck is a Custom Cab, ecause of the trim, ut not sure, here is no Custom cab emblem, ut they might have taken if off when they took the F100 badges off the fenders when they painted it. My guess, he emblems were in bad shape, o they left them off to repaint, ust a guess. This is nicer than most F100 that are just driver/projects that have been on Ebay or elsewhere. Of course they are those trucks that are $15,000-25000 trucks, his is a very nice project for someone to restore, nd build their dream truck, nd you can drive it and enjoy it at the same time. . The front and rear bumpers are in really good shape, ot perfect but nice for a driver. Overall the body is in very solid, nd in great shape, esides some of the paint flaws. There are some small dings in it, ut nothing really major, ook at the pictures and you will get a very good idea of what it is or is not. Would have to have you come and look at it before you bid if you get the chance or send a friend in the area.

Mechanically it is in pretty good shape. The engine is a 1968 302 V8 running a 2bbl intake manifold, asically a nice stock little motor. The Engine starts right up, nd sounds great, ery beefy sounding with the dual exhaust. The engine isa strong runner for sure, nd you can pull almost anything with in reason. It does notsmoke or burn oil, exhaust is clean, il pressure reads around 25-30psi at idle when warm, o that is good. It has a stock truck 4spd Manual, t shifts very nice, o chatter or slipping, ery smooth transmission. The throw out bearing sometimes makes a little noise, n reverse or when you put into 1st gear, t is just worn, othing that I would change right away, span>because everything else is in working order transmission feels nice and smoht, nd it doesn't really effect anything, notice it more when it is colder when you just start it up in general. I have had the truck out on the highway, nd it does great at 60 mph runs no problem. The exhaust is in good shape no holes, ounds great. The brakes work very good, nd do notpull, ruck stops nice and straight. The suspension is all stock and actually drives pretty nice, he Twin I Beam was a great design, span>I don't think it has ever been rebuilt, o it wanders a little bit when you drive it, ot much but not like new. I just put new shocks on the front of it, hich helped a lot, ear ones seem in good shape. It does drive like your typical vintage truck, ut overall very smooth. The tires are very nice they are matching all the way around, irestone Wilderness AT 235/75/15, would say they are about 90%, ice even wear. The wheels are nice Baby Moons, ith nice caps, ut have some rust pitting starting on them in some of the grooves. The odometer reads 50,058 they only had 5 digits at that time, o assume it has turned at least once. Overall mechanically the truck seems to be in good shape, bviously will need a little tinkering here and there, ut mechanically it is good.

Interior is in okay shape, othing really to brag about, ut overall is clean for an old truck. The seat has a seat cover over it, he seat itself does not have any rips or tears and padding is good, ut I think in the past someone took a back of one seat and put it with another bottom. The bottom cushion has black vinyl and back has brown, orgot to take picture with cover off, ut seat is in good repair, ust needs matching material. Overall the interior is pretty clean, on smoker, his is something that I for sure would take my wife out on a date in, hat is if she likes old trucks, t is notdirty inside is what I am saying, span>for a truck that has been driven and enjoyed.. Steering wheel, as few cracks at the base, ut overall in good condition. The dash has a few cracks in it, retty typical in these trucks, his was the first year for the padded dash in the F100/250. The original floor mat is still in the truck, ut has some wear and on drivers side you can see were came apart some down the tunnel. There is no headliner in it, omething you may want to install down the road, hey reproduce them, hey were a cardboard headliner, o most were taken out at some point. Gauges are working inside dash lights work, o radio inside has block off plate. All the exterior lights on thetruck, re working. The wipers work in both speeds, eat works as well. Horn is not functioning. The front windshield does need replaced, as a crack on drivers side, ee picture, nd 1 chip, ou could leave it as well, t is in the corner. Thedoor glass rolls down nicely, nd wing windows work. Overall a decent interior, omething that would not take to much work to redo down the road. All in all the truck is a great old truck, ut just needs some sorting out, ut nothing major.
