You are bidding on my 1938 Ford Phaeton 4 door convertible street rod. Only around 1200 produced in 1938 as compared with over 5.000 in 1937. Last year for the 4 door convertible.This is a Southern car, had it sent up from Florida about a year ago. Previous owner was from Missouri and I have the Missouri title in hand. Connecticut only required a Bill Of Sale when I registered it. Car is currently registered and insured in Connecticut. The pictures with the top down are from when I bought the car from the dealer. (obviously photo shopped as far as color). My pictures depict theReal color. I also added a photo from an old 1940'sBlondie and Dagwood movie.FDRalso had one which was specially equipped with hand controls due to his disability.It was his favorite car to drive! It is equipped with a Ford 302 V-8 with 2bbl carb, utomatic transmission, ack and pinion steering (non power), " Ford rear, isk brakes up front, rums in rear, ignals with LED lights both front and rear. This car has a really nice rust free body, ood paint and interior. I have an electric wiper system made for this car that I never installed along with a new old school style stereo and a new woodenbanjo style wheel. I also have the correct weather stripping for the trunk. I justinstalled aGM styleHEI ignition along with new plugs and wires. Ithas excellent radial tires and old school mags. It has working vintage air. Someone questioned does the top go down and the answer is yes, nd all parts are there. Most parts are made of pot metal and it's a two person operation to lower the top.
