Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

Up for auction today is a 1967 Mustang Fastback. This was a well known street racer back in the 70's in Northwest Washington. Some time in the early 80's it was parked and has sat since. This car was a very well optioned car from the factory and would have been a great car to have saved in tact. Unfortunately, ue to prior body damage from an exploding clutch the firewall was damaged and partially replaced. The car changed hands a few times and was then stored outside. With damage at most of the critical areas the car has been re-bodied with a Dynacorn replacement shell. The car no longer has the VIN's but will provide someone the key components to either rebuild your fastback, se the parts to make your coupe donor into a fastback or possibly even a race car. Some states will even provide a VIN after inspection, o your home work before you buy though. There is NO TITLE or VINS on this car.
Current options on this car include the factory Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes which will certainly need to be rebuilt. The power steering control valve, am & brackets are there, o pump. Perhaps the most valuable of the options still on this car is the factory tachometer set up. These can fetch in excess of $1000 in working order, f course the condition of this one is unknown. This was also a 4 speed car, he clutch & power brake pedals, lutch equalizer bar and linkage are still in place. These are hard to find original components.
The shell is mostly complete as you can see. Each panel on this car will need work to some extent, lease see photos. The passenger door glad & rear window are still in place. The driver's door glass is missing. Inside the fold down seat & pass through door are present but the rear fiberglass interior panels are missing. The floor console is broken but present. The rear frame rails & driver front appear to be in good condition, he passenger front rail does have rust. The floors each have some rust, ee pics.
If you are looking for a quick easy project, his isn't the car for you. Please do your homework on this.
