Description of 1964 Ford Thunderbird convertible

1964 Thunderbird convertible. a project car that needs restoration. The engine runs as long as the choke is partway on. doesn't smoke. nbsp; the mufflers are shot but the pipes are in place. so not too loud. Transmission shifts into gear. tires holding air but threadbare. Car seems to be mostly complete. and comes with some spare parts. see the pictures. The floors are not wet. carpet not rotted. and from underneath I can see some holes but not huge. One rear spring shows a broken leaf. Body is solid. the worst places. bottom of fenders. are not bad. see pics. were repaired years ago and old bondo is still there. Rockers on both sides are solid. Package tray shows rust in corners. see pics. flip tray is like new. all hydraulic cylinders are intact but unbolted and laying there. I see some relays. but I don't think they are all there. Hydraulic motor is there. laying loosely in trunk. Trunk has hole the size of dish plate. No spare tire. Appears to be a new fuel tank. fuel lines are patched up with hose. brake lines are patched up but holding. Has a complete top frame. even the locks are there. and in good shape. I haven't tried to move it. The interior is pretty decent. the only hole in vinyl seats is 1 cut in drivers seat. on side. The door panels are complete. and look good. all glass is intact. windows roll down manually. they are not electric windows. Doors open and close solidly. don't sag on hinges. hood is solid but needs adjusting. See the pictures. for a car that has not been restored it is solid. It has sat in my garage for 3 years. I am not going to get to it any time soon and have lost interest. I only fooled with it enough to see if it will run. it will. and have not really gone over the car. Not a rust bucket. though. but it is a 50 year old car. I have no idea of it's history. nor the true mileage. It is red. the engine compartment is red. but I see some white on one fender. so maybe one fender was replaced or who knows? I have a clean Tennessee title in my name. I am retired. and usually around. so I can help load the vehicle onto your carrier. Shipping the vehicle is buyers responsibility.
