Description of 1967 Ford Mustang GT 350

See my YouTube links below to see run and more detail.
This is an original 4-speed, oss Green 289 HiPo, ll numbers matching 1967 Shelby GT 350. Shelby and Ford VINs verified with SAAC. This Shelby has its original, traight, eautiful wood rim steering wheel and the original complete deluxe interior. All the original Carlite glass is in good condition. This Shelby has it's original assembly line, ate correct 289 HiPo block and heads, ord VIN'd 4-speed toploader transmission and 3.89 9-inch rear end with factory C7ZX metal tag (see photo). Originally this Shelby new was Moss Green with black interior. It was painted black in the 80s to look like a Hertz Shelby. You can see original green in many spots. The 289 HiPo engine is quiet and smooth as glass. No smoke or funny smells from the leak free exhaust. Runs good with new gas tank, ew tires, ome new brake lines, ew brake calipers and brake hoses, ew rear wheel cylinders, OT 5 brake fluid, ew 3-row radiator with fan shroud, ew water pump, ew fuel pump, ew door panels, ew timing chain with NOS timing cover, ebuilt 715 Shelby Lemans carburetor, resh zinc 40-15 engine oil and recent super tune up. Original Shelby VIN aluminum tag in place with the correct Ford K-code VIN underneath which has been verified with SAAC club (see photo) to be original to this Shelby VIN. Original 289 HiPo engine in EXCELLENT running shape. This Shelby has the original VIN stamped toploader from factory and the factory C7ZX 3.89 rear axle with tag still in place (see picture). Also present is the original 1967 Lemans 715 Holley carburetor rebuilt with original COBRA aluminum intake and Autolite dual point distributor. Still on the car is the original Ford Carlite glass. Both doors close perfectly. The car has all the original sheet metal except both rear quarters were replaced in the 80s. Good trunk floors, ut both rear rails have the typical but repairable rust at the spring shackles mounts (see picture). Original front engine compartment aprons are not rusty. This car needs front floors repaired and some front frame rail small patches---all repairable without replacement. Original Shelby SW gauges under the dash. Runs and drives great, ut needs a new clutch...slips. The steering feel is tight and straight so the steering box is good and I filled it with grease to last a long time. Good oil pressure but oil line to gauge broke and I have not replaced it. Has rust in torque box, ront floors and area under battery---but all fixable. Shelby tags and stamps are beautiful as Ford made themand Ford VIN was verified with the SAAC Shelby Club by myself. This Shelby's pedigree is without question and I guarantee it. I believe I am the third owner, itled in my name. A true Los Angeles built 289 HiPo, -speed, reen Carroll Shelby Mustang with original power train that runs and drives darn good! I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. Buyer responsible for shipping. Please call with any questions...Rick (301) 779-0114
