Up for sale is my 1969 Mach 1 428 cobra jet car. Marti report included. I purchased this car that was sitting in a garage since the early 90's I had the motor rebuilt. Due to the crank and rods being unusable, I chose to go with a stroker set up while trying to keep the car as original looking as possible. The displacement is now 462ci. This motor is a full roller on the inside. roller cam, Lifters and Harland Sharpe Rockers with less than 500 miles on it. New Autolite Battery, Ford stamped wiring, Yellow top coil, Radiator, weather striping has been replaced where needed as well.This car has no rust issues. It looks to have been repainted at some point in its life or the stripes were painted on. This car doesn't look to have been ever taken apart. It's not restored but once you see it, you will know why. They are only original once and this is a fine example. It has a new motor, radiator, brakes, and many other correct new parts including a new style original looking autolite battery. This car even has the original exhaust on it.I have new Mach 1 side stripes that will be installed. The car will also be detailed. Again, this car is not restored. It has a ding here and there, has a couple of paint chips. It runs VERY well. The carburetor is new and its ready to take out this summer. The block is not numbers matching, it looks to be a 66 or a replacement block. It has the "A" stamped on the back. Sale may be pending advertised locally. I will end this auction if it sells.
