Description of 1969 Ford Ranchero GT

1969 Ranchero GT 390 4-spd. has PS, PB front disc, factory tach and bucket seats.
Has build sheet and original documentation. Actual millage is unknown.
This car was partially taken apart for a restoration. Owner ran out of money to finish it and it was put back together
in the condition as listed. It will need more work done to make it road legal. The windshield needs a seal and the
front tires need replacing. Body work was started and both rear sections of the rear quarter panels have been cut
out for replacement. There is a rust hole on the left front quarter panel also. There are also numerous small dents and
evidence of previous body work. There are numerous dents in the bed. The hood has a bow and there is a crack at the front.
The vinyl top needs to be replaced.
There are also small rust There are also small rust through holes on the
interior floor, there is no carpet. Original steering wheel is gone.
The factory bucket seats come with the car, the drivers seat has been stripped and
the frame and a few of the springs are broken they can be welded, the frame condition of the passenger seat is unknown.
The seats in the car are out of a 98 Explorer using the rails from the Ranchero. The drivers door panel is missing
and new reproduction panel go with the car. There is a new headliner also as well as floor insulation.
The dashpad (no cracks), armrest and visors and in good usable condition. The lower dash has been cut for a later
model radio and the dash trim has broken tabs. The dashpad is only installed by the upper clips.
The wiring behind the dash will need work, wiring diagrams are included. The center console ( not sure if it came with one from factory)
is broken and armrest has cracks. There is no weather stripping or door felt. Has left (cable operated) and right side outside mirrors.
The motor runs good, if any internal work was done it is unknown. The starter will need replacing what looks to be a new one is included and a water pump too.
It does run and drives, all 4 gears work, has minor clutch chatter, the transmission a toploader, was rebuilt in 1996.
The mufflers are glasspacks cut down before the 9" axle, ratio is unknown. Original air-cleaner is gone.
The PS pump is unhooked with the pully off.
The outer trim is original and shows it's age with minor dents and cracks in the plastic pieces.
One of the wheel well trim pieces is missing.
There are extra parts included to finish the restoration.
