Description of 1971 Ford Mustang

You sit down and turn the ignition. The car starts with a low rumble and levels out to a beautiful sounding idle. You immediately realize that you are in no ordinary vehicle. You put the transmission into drive and take off. you are pushed back into the seat and all at once realize that you are in command of a special machine. The bright yellow can be spotted from a mile away. Children everywhere look at you as you drive by. they give a thumbs-up and shout "Nice car!" This is the American driving experience. We have a love affair with our cars and this is all the reason in the world to own something this special. I have had this feeling since purchasing the car from the original owner in 1988 and it is time for someone else to experience her. I no longer have the time necessary to dedicate to her. This car is in very good condition. I had it painted when I was in high school and it could use a re-paint. Tires have a lot of tread left. One crack in dash board. All original interior. AM Philco radio. No holes cut for speakers or anything like that. If you are handy in the garage. it wouldn't take much to really cherry this baby out. It is a great driver and still has a lot left to offer a caring owner. Has not been beaten on or driven rough. Faithfully maintained and has had regular oil changes at the beginning of every season. sometimes with only a 100 miles between oil changes.
