Description of 1965 Ford Thunderbird LUXURY CONVERTIBLE

CLASSIC THUNDERBIRD

The1965 T bird was the highest priced convertible for the line to ever be built including the 1966 models. It boasted fine lines, sleek styling and an outstanding luxury sport interior all wrapped up in a smooth driving full size automobile. SomeThunderbird advancements included the iconic sequential turn signals, disc brakes and in this particular convertible, a 300 horsepower z code 390 cubic inchv8. Only 6846 were produced in 1965 at a hefty price tag of just under $5000.

This classic bird runs smooth and drives like a dream. The paint is 15 years old and shows some wear but still shines up great. The interior shows well but alsoshows some age. All off the lights, brightwork and grillare in great shape, the front and back bumpers have both been re chromed. The power top has been disconnected and only operates manually right now. (some wiring will be needed to get the power working correctly ) The power windows all work but do require help up as they are slow.

The radial tires are newer and in great shape and are mounted on 80's style t bird rims that compliment the car color nicely. The light brown top is also in great condition and compliment the overall look to give that little extra rich look on this luxury 60's car.

If you have any questions about the car, don't hesitate to email or phone me at 403-350-1308. The car is located in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada and can be shipped worldwide to its new owner.
