It is a true "Beast!" All American steel. this thing is built like a tank. It is a longbed. They just do not build them like this anymore!The truck has a V8 400M with automatic transmission. The truck has original dual gas tanks. factory A/C and heat. All the gauges work. speedo. oil pressure. temp. fuel. urn signals. even the seatbelt indicator works. The headlights. taillights. cruise control. wipers. courtesy light. interior dome light. even the light under the hood of the motor works. The truck runs and drives good. It cruises highway speeds smooth and easy. Everything on the truck works! It has an aftermarket Alpine stereo but everything else is all original. As far as the motor it has brand new plugs and wires. It has an edlebrock intake manifold. edelbrock valve covers. and air cleaner. It has hooker headers and dual exhaust. The motor was rebuilt years ago with high performance parts. I have the build sheet from the shop that had rebuilt the engine. Here is some of the build list from the engine build. Block bored +. 030. trw pistons. single molly rings. compression 9. 2-1- high performance connecting rods. crank shaft custom ground . internal assembly balanced. Steel timing gear and timing set. Trw high volume oil pump. Fel-pro perma torque gaskets. Cylinder heads surfaced. New intake and exhaust valves steel guides. competition valve job. Springs shimmed to pressure per camshaft . camshaft and lifters by crane. Chrome Molly push rods. std rocker arms. Edelbrock performer intake manifold. Carter 960 carb. Comp cam. Hooker headers. Like I mentioned this was an old build from years ago but the motor still runs strong and starts right up. The 4 wheel drive works excellent. 4h. l both work. This truck can go through about anything! Dirt. snow. hills. sand etc. As far as rust the truck is overall solid. there is a little rust in the rear fender but overall it is a real solid. frame and floor boards are good. There is some surface rust and also some patina but it all appears to be the original paint job. This is a 35 year old survivor truck it is not in mint condition. It has some dents. needs body work. some of the trim needs clips and needs a paint job. The truck needs some tlc as far as cosmetics goes. but everything on the truck works and the motor runs strong. This truck is perfect for hunting. off-roading. hauling stuff. or just cruising as is a daily driver. Please do not bid if you do not have intentions on buying it or if you have doubts.
