Beautiful 1962 Ford Galaxie. Recently failed inspection due to work needed on the suspension and frame. Please see the details below - this car is being sold as is with all known details listed below- To pass inspection it needs the following fixed:
- the frame is rotted through in 2 places
- I have taken it to a mechanic and this can be taken care of (I was given an estimate of $1100 for this work)
- lower ball joints for the suspension
- I have the ball joints and they will be included in the sale but could not be installed without fixing the issues with the frame
- Other work that should be done in the next 6 months:
- Brakes
- New leaf springs and lowering blocks
- Cosmetic Work:
- Upholsteryrepairs needed in the front
I boughtthis car a year ago and since I bought it I haverecored the radiator, replaced the transmissionlines, thermostat,and battery. Over the winter the Galaxie was in a heated storage unit.
