Description of 1935 Ford Other Pickups

Here we have a very nice example of a mostly original 35 Ford pickup. I wanted to build a pickup that looked very period correct as it was in maybe mid 1940s. I did take the liberty to make a few improvements as I saw fit such as 12 volt and hydraulic brakes. I also updated some of the fasteners to stainless like in the bed floor. I have a nicely upholstered padded floor for the bed if you actually need to put something in the back. Everything has been gone through except the gear box and rear end. Both looked great and did not warrant an overhauling. Im sure the gearbox has been gone through at one time but I cannot confirm this. The frame is very solid. ery straight and uncut with fresh black paint. We did open up a hole on the X member to get exhaust through though. No sign of rot or rust out in the typical places. The frame numbers match the title which also match the gearbox. I installed 40 style hydraulic brakes with all new lines. hoses and master cylinder. Also has all new copper fuel lines with electric fuel pump and a new tank. he truck has a rebuilt 21 stud correct style motor which has the stock genie converted to produce 12 volts. A rebuilt holley 94 is on the rig now but can include the correct Stromberg that is rebuilt if the new owner wants that to be correct. Trans shifts real smooth and has new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. Original 35 radiator was used and was tested before installation. All sheet metal is original Ford except the tailgate and headboard on the bed. I installed the oak floor with stainless strips and welded 90 degree trim around the perimeter. This really cleans up the edges and looks great! Lot of work but worth the effort. Everything was sand blasted then hit with epoxy primer. There are some minor imperfections in the paint or body. but very straight smooth black single stage PPG paint. This is the way I wanted it and believed it would have been back in the day. I installed a factory style headliner and kick panels. Decided to spruce up the interior with some covered door panels that matched the seat. The doors open and close nicely with that early Ford snap. Windows operate as they should with all original parts and new weather stripping. I had a very solid original windshield frame that was used as well. The ignition switch is original as well and it actually has the original ford key. The truck also has powder coated 16 inch wheels with excellent rubber. 650s in the back and 600s in the front. I have the spare to match the rest of the wheels which is powder coated also. A very nice painted spare tire holder is included. I just choose not to run it. A 36 passenger bumper is used because I like the way they look with the lines of the grille. The truck runs. drives and stops great. It will make somebody a proud owner of a very period correct pickup. May consider a trade with some cash. It should be an early ford coupe. nothing with 4 doors. Model A if its the right car ? Call with questions 619-246-41 six fourPaypal deposit right after auction ends of $1500. no exceptions!!
