Description of 1985 Ford Mustang

1985 mustang gt convertible. 5.0 5 speed 3:55 rear gears. I have had this car for 3yrs and have been slowly fixing it up. I drive it daily to and from work. I would consider this a project car, and would Not drive it across country. Please look at pictures and ask questions. If you need more pictures just ask.Now the good; New wheels and tires. 17x9 front 17x10.5 rear with a 315 tire. New 5 lug conversion. ranger axels in rear and lincoln rotors in front. also changed front spindles and brakes to 87 and up style.new bearings and seals in rear end.new wheel bearings and seals frontnew rubber brake linesmaster cylinder and booster replace in last 6 months (wasnt painted so has surface rust on it now)new shocks and strutsnew TuffStuff alternatornew adjustable clutch cableNew distributor last 6 monthsSince I bought I also replaced water pump, hoses, radiator, belt.Also has stainless headers into a flow master exhaust. dumps before rear axelReplaced door pins on drivers door.Replaced 2 window motors.New gauges in dash.New Brakes front and rear. Rear has all new hardware and cylinders Car runs good, shifts good. Starts right up. Could use a little more tuning. Has edelbrock carb. Exhaust sounds mean. Body is very clean only rust is on trunk lid. floors are perfect so are front frame rails. Interior is a little rough, being a Florida car. Roof has a small tear by back window.
The Bad: One of the little back windows is off the track, ( have part to fix)Theres No Air conditioning or Heat. was removed when I bought it.( just put the top down :)One of the bars on the convertible top mechanism is loose. top still works just need to reattachThe car needs painted. It has a poor quality paint job on it, also theres some minor dings here and there.Car has an electric fuel pump thats loud, kinda annoying
Overall Its a good car to restore, remember its 32yrs old. I also have extra parts ill throw in, including a rare factory hood scoop, extra fenders, front nose, ton of interior parts, seats.
