Description of 1959 Ford Thunderbird

1959 Ford Thunderbird 2dr CoupeThis model features a 352 V8, 300hp 4 Barrel Carb. and Automatic Trans.First Year AC was offered and stills blows cold air. Also has Power Brakes and Original AM Radio still in working condition.
This car is completely Original and retains its Original matching motor and trans. The interior is also original. The headliner and carpet have been replaced many years ago to original spec. The clock on the dash lights up but does not keep time. The temp gauge also in not functioning, but has a aftermarket temp gauge installed under the dash that could be easily removed if desired. The original side glass does show signs of bubbling, but adds character and originality.
There is NO rust on this car and shows NO accidents. It is a 3 owner and started its life in Texas and remained there until 1986. It has been stored in garages since then and remains in beautiful original condition. It has been repainted, but shows very well.
In the last 2 months the car has been given a Complete Carb rebuild, New fuel pump and New front brakes. The transmission was removed and fully rebuilt in June 2012 and has only 1,000 miles since then. Paperwork will be provided.
Has spare tire and matching cover to trunk liner. Original tools and jack are in the trunk. Original owners manual is included as well. Red logo Thunderbird floormats compliment the original red and white interior.
