If you are a Ford Fan & particularly a Mustang nut sit back and enjoy the presentation of this low mileage "limited owner 1973 Mustang Convertible"!

As we all know 1973 was a banner year for the Ford Mustang (last year for the classic body)!

There would not be another convertible produced for over a decade!

The M.C.A. (Mustang club or America), Keith Martin and several other key authority figures have given the 73 Mustang convertible an A+ rating in terms of collectability!

Since the iconic pony car was going out with a bang several unique attributes made their debut!

The urethane bumpers, vertical parking lights and chrome tail light trim are all fan favorites just to name a few.

This beautiful vintage vehicle is a great representation of a convertible model produced with deluxe trim during that year!

It is my pleasure to offer it to the next potential lucky owner & the Ebay community abroad.

Over the next few moments I will attempt to give a brief description regarding the cars history, condition & drivability.

Please take time to fully enjoy it. The SERIOUS BUYER is strongly encouraged to contact me "before the next guy puts this pony in his stable" (DON'T MISS OUT)! 314-497-9470

This little Mustang was purchased in the spring of 1973 by the lead salesman who worked at the dealership!

Burnette Ford in Davenport Iowa was a major player in the game when it came to releasing & supplying the masses with race ready Mustangs and unique Fords!

Racing legends such as Ernie Derr (11 time ARCA winner / 12 time IMCA national stock car champion) were constantly staged at this particular dealership because of its ties to performance!

By all accounts the original owner ordered this vehicle. It was not part of the lot inventory.

Since both previous owners were aware of the dealerships historical significance they kept the watermark deck lid decal intact through the years!

At any rate this beauty was kept secure by the original owner until the mid nineties. Afterwards it would be sold to a businessman in Des Moines.

It certainly has lived a sheltered life (hence the low miles). However the new owner decided to invoke upon a top notch restoration that wouldn't reach its climax for many years!

There is no doubt that perfection was the goal from the onset! First on the list was bringing the cars beautiful Medium Ginger exterior back to life.

He appointed a long standing paint & hydrographics company to help formulate the new blend that would be developed.

The creative hue & tint is very nice! Although a bit off the beaten path of the original "people absolutely love it"!

Before any work began the vehicle would be stripped and prepped for paint.

Each panel was scrutinized for appropriate contouring before they were covered.

I am honored to say that the overall quality & condition of this Mustang is easy to appreciate!

The distinct color helped snag a few trophies in Iowa and I am sure it will do the same for the next owner!

If you have seen your fair share of the traditional red, blue & black muscle cars on the road

"today change has come"!

The subtle metallic amber paint shines brilliantly at any given time of day and is very impressive in direct sunlight!

A base coat clear coat method was employed to distribute the paint to the exterior so the body is smooth to the touch.

Gloss black accents can be found throughout the circumference of the cars entire body "excellent contrast"!

The iconic / damage free NASA hood makes a bold statement right out of the gate (decent fit and finish)! Onlookers will constantly be reminded of the good old days on route 66 when she leaves the garage!

An ensemble of menacing Mach 1 performance stripes covers the lion's share of the exterior "warning others that she's race ready"!

The aggressive looking N.O.S. front chin spoiler proves to add just the right touch and is far from subtle (perfectly fitted).

The spoiler is actually constructed with fiberglass and not made with plastic like the aftermarket pieces on the market today.

It is rather easy to see why people everywhere are either questioning you about this vintage Ford or asking to take pictures of it!

After the car had passed the authoritative litmus test for quality a litany of intricate detailed parts were added. This included but was not limited to; wiring harness, running lights, brackets and wind lace.

The hallmark signature running pony is original to the car & in great shape.

A factory correct stainless Mustang gas cap is stationed at the rear of the vehicle (excellent condition)!

A set of color keyed dual sport racing mirrors are neatly attached to both doors with correct seals and hardware.

The factory side markers & other signals have been tested and are functioning properly.

This wonderful Mustang was ordered with the optional Deluxe Décor Group that included rubberized bumper inserts with bumper guards!

The glass throughout including the front windshield has been detailed with a clay bar so all are clear and ready for the road.

The contrast that is provided by the Dutch white canvas top against the exterior is amazing!

The perfect blend of muscle and elegance comes together in a special way whether the top is up or down!

Kee Auto Top supplied the upholstery shop with the canvas that would cover the roof of this Mustang! Proper fit and quality can be expected.

The pump, lines & hoses were also serviced.

Lowering the power top with confidence is no problem at all! There is a protective color coordinated boot to match.

Now that the spring and summer months are in full swing you'll be the envy of all (perfect picture)!

At the end of the day this 73 pony is a great investment grade vehicle that is extremely pleasing to the eye!

If you have been waiting for a nice quality Mustang that bucks today's trend look no further!

She plays her part well at any venue

SHOW OR GO!

Each and every panel on this classic car is in stellar condition. Here are a few pictures close up!

Now that we have talked about this phenomenal Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside.

Upon opening the door of this 73 you will find a very impressive interior!

An array well crafted ginger appointments shakes things up considerably while simultaneously providing all occupants with maximum comfort.

The deluxe front high back buckets still stand true and happen to be in fantastic shape! An assortment of upscale luxury stainless inserts can still be found encompassing the center of both seats.

The mellow bronze flavored interior truly captures a time when cars were manufactured with character!

Taking a quick look in back you will find a near perfect bench seat!

Both door panels have luxury wood grain inserts and are original to the car (amazing shape)!

New internal hardware has been attached to ensure stability "looks terrific"! The cockpit area of this vehicle is unmolested and very original.

The dash pad is in excellent shape & all of the gauges are functioning properly (rare)!

Stationed between both seats is an upscale center console perfect for storing loose items.

A near perfect loop pile carpet shields the vehicle from front to rear! The quarter upholstery and belt line area are in nice condition as well.

Wonderfully crafted sill plates are easily detected upon entering the vehicle on either side to boot.

The hallmark deluxe Mustang steering wheel is still in pristine condition as well! Although it is next to impossible to find almost any classic Mustang with a functioning Rim Blow wheel

"this one works perfectly"!

Talk about a conversation piece.... Check out the throw back stereo with 8 track player!

At the end of the day the interior compliments the exterior nicely.

Nice big body convertible Mustangs with the 351 power plant appreciation values continue to climb!

Again this vintage Ford has it all! It is a perfect car for the individual who has been waiting to get into the game for the first time or a great piece to add to your collection!

Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford...... Let's turn it up a notch and discuss the power plant!

No Mustang can truly be considered a muscle car without having a free running factory V/8.

The heart and soul of this horse is its BEEFY factory 351 Cleveland engine block!

This Mustang has only been driven a tender 56000! Both previous owners cherished it so preventative maintenance was always important for them. I am pleased to say that the vehicle still runs incredibly strong!

Horse power & Torque ratio values are optimal!

The original intake has received new gaskets and the Correct FORDMOCO carburetor was rebuilt recently.

The original valve covers received new gaskets as well. Both still retain the factory signature decals that they came stamped with from the assembly line!

A factory air cleaner can be easily identified upon opening the hood inscribed with the correct 351 label.

The car has recently had new plugs, wires, thermostat, fuel pump, fuel filter, rebuilt carburetor, battery, hoses, belts, starter and just too much more to list installed!!!

SHE'S DEPENDABLE AND A STRONG RUNNER!!!!

This V/8 motor has plenty of giddy up and accelerates with ease!

The muscle car theme is played out each and every time you decide to mash the throttle thanks in part to the chambered dual exhaust system.

Although the car can be considered a cruiser there's plenty of power on tap!

She turns over with just a twist of the key at the slightest touch "truly a thrilling ride"!

LET'S LISTEN TO HER RUMBLE!!!

The experience that you will have driving it is a pleasurable one. You'll never want to return to the garage!

The original radiator has been refurbished and is ready for the upcoming season.

Powering steering & Disc brakes makes this Mustang a cinch to drive!

The conventional gear axle ratio supplies excellent torque and flows freely.

Ford sanctioned this Mustang to be released with the heavy duty (U-code) C/6 transmission so the rotating force is plentiful!

All of the mechanical components have been serviced recently and given a clean bill of health (extremely reliable)!

Lastly you will find a set flawless 15x8 inch Magnum 500 classic Rally wheels wrapped with new raised white letter performance tires "stops traffic"!

Don't miss out on your chance to own a quality investment. No disappointments!

The time, effort & money spent restoring this car can't be properly measured. That being said I have set a very reasonable reserve on it! I can be reached any time to discuss how I can help put this quality Mustang in your garage now!

I waited to mention the most important part last.

This Mustang has a solid structure underneath!

I have taken several pictures to give insight of the car condition underneath.

There is an original Ford wheel with a spare tire tucked away in the trunk (nice touch for the car shows)!

A sporty trunk mat is also located inside with a standard jack.

This one is sure to make the next potential owner happy (needs nothings)!

Factory manual & car cover included.
