Description of 1955 Ford F-100 Step side

1955 Ford F100 390ci GT Petina Truck
For sale is my 1955 Ford F100. This truck has been my daily driver here in Tucson, AZ for the last couple of years. It's a very enjoyable truck to drive and a real head turner. The truck is mounted on an s10 frame (apologies to the purists out there) and leveled to give it an awesome profile and stance. The original engine was swapped for a professionally rebuilt, complete (including the hard to find original proformance exhaust manifolds),1966 390ci GT that was pulled from a 1966 Ford Fairlane GT in town. Behind the the engine is a rebuilt C6 three speed automatic transmission. The engine and transmission are just finishing their break in period and both have appropriate 2,600 miles on them.
Details on the engine rebuild- 10.5:1 compression-30 over Speed Pro Hypereutectic Pistons- Molly Ring Set- Clevite Rod and Main Bearings- Dur-bond Cam Bearing- Fel-pro Gaskets- New Timing Set- Mellings Oil Pump- EPW Hydraulic lifters- Melling Torque Cam- Brass Freeze Plugs- Hardened Exhaust Seats- New Valve Springs and Seals
Additional upgrades to the truck- Custom under dash mounted (icy cold) Vintage Air A/C and heating system- New 4 core radiator with twin eletric fans to help keep the engine cool in the summer months- New distributor- New 4br Holly carborator- New Flowmaster exhaust system- ABS headliner- Custom 3 point seat belts- Daulphin gauges- New tall aluminum valve covers- Fully insulated cab
The truck is available for appraisal/inspection.
The truck is also for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the sale early should a local buyer be located.
