Description of 1961 Ford F-100 Mercury

1961 Mercury M100 Short Bed Unibody. Very rare truck. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder. Can ship anywhere.
This Mercury Unibody is in good shape for an original unrestored truck. There is a little rust on the floorboards around the front cab mounts but far better than any other Mercury Unibody I've found in the past. There is also a little rust on the bed but not bad and the usual rust in the tailgate but the Mercury lettering across the tailgate is in great shape. Overall it is a very solid example and the best I've found so far. These short bed Mercury Unibody trucks are rare, I actively search for them all over North America and have only found 3 in the past 3 years. It seems as though they made a lot more long beds as I've come across them far more often. All of the Mercury specific emblems are present, nothing is missing. The 6 cylinder motor is free but not currently running. It is mated to the original 4 speed manual transmission which is unusual as most came with the 3 speed column shift. The interior is all original and in reasonable shape but the seat will need reupholstering. Overall a good original example of this rare truck.
