Up for sale is a 1956 Ford F-100 Custom Cab short bed equipped with the original 272 V8 engine, 3 speed column shift transmission.Truck in currently not running and is not in driving condition. Truck is missing the windshield and the stainless trim around the windshield. I purchased the truck this way. I have had this truck since 1994 and have collected many parts over the years. I'm selling the truck because after 20 plus years and have not done anything its time to let it go. The truck needs a full restoration. The engine turns over by hand, it did run when the truck was purchased back in 94. The truck is completely original, it still has the original spare tire carrier. The original ignition key is still present and fits both door locks as well. With that all the body panels are original and appear that the truck was never in a accident. The odometer shows 61956 for miles and believe that to be original. The truck has rust being in New England all its life but is not that bad. Typical areas are cab corners, fenders and front cab mounts. I have tried to show the truck as best as I can in the photos. There is a extensive inventory of parts included with the sale of the truck. This is a package deal! Will not separate any of the parts or truck. The parts collection is geared towards restoring the truck original. Some of the parts include brake parts (master cylinder rebuild kit, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, parking brake cables), suspension parts (king pin kit, front and rear spring shackle kits) complete rubber kit (windshield, back window, door seals, vent window etc.) polished stainless bed strips and the polished stainless bed bolt kit, and many many more parts. I was going to hot rod the engine a little so there is a factory cast iron 4 barrel intake manifold, new set of exhaust headers and an original set of chrome Mercury valve covers. There is also one new left front fender. It is a Fairlane Co. fiberglass fender. There is a good used right side door all though both doors on the truck are good. I have a complete list of all the parts that total over 4 thousand dollars. Most of the parts are new Dennis Carpenter Reproduction parts but there is N.O.S. Ford parts and some used parts as well. Now the business side of the deal. I am listing local pick up only. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. Vehicle and parts will not be released until cash is in hand or paypal clears all funds (no checks accepted). Vehicle must be removed from property no later than two week after auction ends. Vehicle does not have a title, bill of sale only. Connecticut does not issue titles to vehicles older than 25 years old.The truck comes with no warranty or guarantee.
