1979 MUSTANG GHIA 5. 0 1979 Mustang Ghia 5. 0 that has been completely restored. In 1979 the " Ghia " Mustang was Fords top of the line luxury Mustang and was called a " Luxury Fox "because it is a Fox Body Mustang. The car has a fresh 5. 0 motor from a 1992 Gt with Aluminum heads . small high rise intake manifold with a 650 Holley 4 barrel carb . MSD Ignition . headers into a brand new Flowmaster exhaust. Car sounds incredible. The car has a Tremec 5 speed that shifts perfectly and has no play in the shifter . the clutch is fine. All new Disc brakes up front and new Drum brakes in the rear. Tires are 80% and mounted on Cobra Wheels. The car has an Aluminum driveshaft and the Suspension is tight and includes front and rear sway bars for exceptional handling. The car DOES NOT LEAK any fluids. The hood is fiberglass and has hood pins at all 4 corners . it can be completely removed or opened like any hood by just removing the 2 front pins. The paint is the Factory PPG color and is only a few years old ( it looks new ) the factory color is Chestnut Brown but it really looks like a Dark Copper color ( the paint is gorgeous ). and the interior is completely restored including new carpet . nbsp; brand new seats and new headliner. All the glass in the car is nice and it has all new rubber seals around doors and windows. The dash is excellent with no splits or blemishes. The rear hatch area is very clean and comes equipped with a fire extinguisher. There is an aftermarket stereo installed but the dash remains factory stock with no cutting. The car has all the factory Ghia badges and factory Ghia steering wheel. All the factory books are included as well as a factory window sticker. The car is approximately 325 horsepower and the fact that the car ONLY WEIGHS 2550 LBS makes this a fast and fun ride. No disappointments with this car . if youre looking for a Fox Body Mustang that is gorgeous . looks new . and drives new this is it. **** The pictures do not do this car justice . it is gorgeous inside and out . the paint is new and deep with excellent shine . the interior is all new and looks like its never been sat in.
