Description of 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible |
| Selling this one family owned 1964. 5 mustang convertible ragoon red with black interior car has been under restoration for several years and comes with everything you see pictured. The underside rust has been cut out and is ready to be patched car comes with homemade wheeled dolly you see. Let's start with the drive tran. First off we have the original matching engine to the car that has been completely rebuilt and is ready with zero miles the generator is there along with its cover . That is connected to a fully reworked original 3 speed manual transmission which come with everything you need flywheel new clutch in the box. this connects to the drive shaft that has been reworked and ready for install . finally he rear end has been cleaned and checked and reassembled including a fresh coat of paint. Car has power steering and all components are there also comes with a Granada disc brake conversion setup if you want it. As you can see the interior is complete. I have included pictures to show the condition of the floor pans then I put the carpet . seats. and console inside the car to show that everything is there. The seats and console are not installed just sitting there. I have the original seats belts included all glass is good the windshield has 2 rock chips and should be replaced. All chrome pieces are included some are new most are original to the car . Also included is all the hardware screws bagged and labeled for the car. All body panels on the car look good the most work is needed under the car on the framing members but everything is exposed and easy to get too. Especially on the dolly. Car is being sold as is where is comes with clear title. Door vin matches under hood vin This car will make someone a fantastic classic original or go restomod if that's what you like. The coupe is a one owner 1965 289 car and also has the original drive trane with the car. the car does not run. it is a very rare tropical turquois color that was only used in 64 1/2 and early 65 cars. this car would be a great car if you were looking for a patina I t is a 3 speed car . the interior is in good shape no cracks in dash pad. no dash cuts from aftermarket radios. has had one repaint in 1981. all underside is solid. including floor pans and rails. this is a complete car with just a small amount of rust in the corner of the door and at the bottom of one quarter. very solid and straight car. appears to be a no hit body. all gaps line up correctly and all glass is good. has original white interior. door vin matches the fender vin. both cars come with clear titles. may take trades let me know what you have . call or text with any questions 8038042787 |
