Description of 1977 Ford F-150

Selling my 77 F150 with 133 inch wheelbase that I have put a lot of loving work into. The truck has no rust and is very straight. It has a small indentation on the right side bed rail where a previous owner had poorly installed a rollbar. The rear bumper is bent downward on the right side a little. The tailgate is a little concave as well. The front grill needs to be replaced to make it look even prettier and the paint needs to be buffed. There is a crack in the windshield that is not in the driver line of sight. The truck was originally a 302 V8 with a manual transmission but has been converted to a 1978 Ford LTD 351W with a C6 automatic transmission. The clutch pedal is still located on the foot pedals and can be removed easily if desired. It sits tightly against the firewall so I have not bothered with it so far. The air conditioning blows cold and the truck is a joy to drive even on long trips. In the past few months I have installed new tires, new water pump, new fuel pump, new points, cap and condenser (the Duraspark II wiring and computer are still there just not used), rebuilt the carburetor, new heater core, recharged the AC, new oil and filter, new transmission fluid and filter, new brakes and greased all the chassis lube points. The door panels could use replacing, along with the carpet and dash pad eventually depending on how perfect you like your interior to be. The cardboard glovebox needs to be replaced to be perfect as well. The turn signal switch needs replacing as well. The truck has a smaller than stock steering wheel on it now, but I have a replacement factory steering wheel that I am including with the sale. The truck always starts after pressing the accelerator pedal down all the way once and then letting it back up before turning the key. This truck is a real solid truck with no major issues and will make a really nice restoration, restomod or hot rod for the new owner. The only reason I am selling it is because I have a 1970 F100 that I am restomodding into my new daily driver. I am in San Antonio, Texas and have been driving the truck at my other home in Monterrey, Mexico and it has never let me down. The reserve price is low because I'd rather keep it than give it away! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
