This 1967 Ford Mustang is simply a blast. The power train is a complete pull-out from a 2004 Silverado. 5.3 liter with a Camaro intake, injectors and a 4L60 overdrive automatic transmission. The only reason I'm selling it is too finish my dad's 1966 SS Chevelle he's had since new. Manual disc brakes on the front and disc brakes on the 8.8 differential that came out of a ford explorer. With the 3.55 ratio open rear end this car gets 26 mpg on the highway but lacks no power. The manual steering and suspension has been gone through and is in very good condition with new spring bushing and springs front to back. New 14" kumho tires. The mustang is an original California car restored 10 years ago. LS swap was performed 6 years ago, and the car has been daily driven for the past 2 years up and down the California coast. I recently made a trip from Joshua Tree, California to Kansas City, Missouri 24 hours straight with no issues. This is a proven car and extremely reliable. That being said the car does have paint chips and scratches from normal wear and tear. But altogether the car looks good, no dents. Mileage on the odometer is 110,000. New front seat covers, carpet and dash were installed during the restoration. The door panels and rear seat cover are probably 20 years old but no tears so I did not replace it during the restoration. All gauges work and look brand new. The car has the stock style heater with a heater core installed during the restoration. The radio is an update stock style with AUX in/out.
