1968 1/2 Mmustang Fastback GT R Code 428 CJ

True R code 68 ½ COBRA JET Ram Air Fastback.

One of Only 171 CJ's built in San Jose Ca., known as a double R car. Car was delivered to Foulger Ford in Monrovia Ca, which was one of Fords Motor Co's., High Performance dealers on the West Coast. Real GT car, not a clone, replica or re-bodied car, with Marti Report and California Title in my name.

This is a rare Project that needs completion, painted original color of Sunlit Gold. Needs final buffing.

Number matching engine, and automatic trans., both need to be re-built. Have heads and exhaust manifolds and Ram Air parts.

Have correct GT wheels painted argent with NOS center caps, NOS Beauty rings, still in Ford Boxes

NOS rocker moldings, Original Black C stripe Kit, still in Ford Box.

All sheet metal was removed when painted, and is back on car which needs final buffing. Replacement sheet metal parts used, where an original NOS hood, good used GT front DS front fender, and driver door, New front and rear lower valances, Dynacore full quarter panels, they were replaced because originals where full of bondo, they were not rusted out, They were replaced professionally.

Have interior that consists of replacement front deluxe bucket seats with head rests, out of a 68 Cougar, back seat, was a fixed back seat, have parts to convert to a fold down. All Fiberglass panels are there. Needs upholstery kit, carpet kit, have a good used original dash pad, have new headliner. Have original door glass and back window.

Substantial amount of work has been done on this project. I've taken this project as far as I can go. moving and need to sell, no room at new location. I have owned this car for 15 years +. Original mileage is unknown.

Almost all parts are there, missing original Intake, carburetor, windshield, front bumper, radiator plus some small pieces.

Car will need to be picked up by someone who can pick up all the pieces plus the long block and transmission.
