Description of 1974 Ford Ranchero 500

1974 Ford Ranchero 500 with an automatic transmission. V8 400 engine with a Holley 2 barrel carburetor. Always starts and runs well. Aftermarket AM/FM Cassette player from that time period. Has factory air conditioningand the belt is still hooked up but does not blow cold. Has a new power steeringbox and pump. Interior is in good shape the top of the seat has a split in the seems, easy fix. It needs a glove box shell and the glove box door does not close well. Exhaust sounds good with having new dual exhaust with chrome tips. The body has some rust in the fenders and around the wheel wells, see the pictures for detail. The back bed has some rust by the hinges and in the bed. There is some rust under the vinyl top. The frame appears solid. The paint seems original but the passenger side was re-sprayed at some point. Lights and turn signals work along with the wipers and heat. No chips or cracks in the glass. Nice Ford hub caps. The tires look ok but I think need to be replaced. I think the front tires are too wide (60x15's)and rub some on a sharp turn. You can feel a little wobble in them at highway speeds The same with rear tires (50x15's). One of the rear shocks has a squeak to it needs replaced.
