Description of 1965 Ford Mustang

Not Just A Coupe, This Mustang is much more!This build was done with love!The love of a father, a son, and a car!Started as a project for the drag strip, this father/son duet soon realized the car was turning out way to nice just to beat up on the quarter mile. So they changed direction, and wound up with this beautiful, built to drive, 64 1/2 Mustang Coupe!With only 1100 miles since completion, this "IS" the one you been looking for!!!!!
"Stat's"The body was, blasted, and all damaged, or rusted panels replaced. including, doors, fenders, floor boards, both rear quarters. The uni-body has been tied, and a roll bar added.
Paint is beautiful, base/clear Toronado Red topped off with $1400.00 Ceramic coating, that makes the finish simply amazing!Bodywork is straight as an arrow!
95% of the chrome on the car has been replaced.
Interior is completely new, with heated seats. (yes that"s right) Autometer Guages, Vintage Stereo radio. complete new wiring front to back. Veryclean look.
Front suspension has all been upgraded to rack and pinion, tubular "A" arms and coil over springs 1" drop spindles that improved the handling like you would not believe. All wrapped in vacuum assisted Wilwood disc brakes.Rear suspension upgraded to a bullet proof 9" differential with traction lock 3.25:1 gear ratio, and Moser axles, also with Wilwood disc brakes.
Ok, now to the good stuff!the heart of this performance beast is a 351W stroked out to 408 cu in. OH! did I mention the son is an ASA certified Ford mechanic, and a gear head? the build includes Top of the line internals, Edelbrock aluminum cyl heads, Edelbrock camshaft, and intake topped off with a Holley 670 cfm four barrel carb.Exhaust is 3inch custom made by Stainless Works.C4 tranny built to handle the load.Dyno tuned by Hutter Performance.
