We purchased the car in Southern California from a long time owner. The car is originally from Seattle and has a "74" DSO. It's an older restoration that has been touched up and maintained over the years. It shows some light wear but is still immaculately clean and well kept. The paint has a very nice shine with a few minor chips and blemishes here and there. It is painted in its original Springtime Yellow (code 8). The body appears solid and original. We have not found evidence of any major rust or panel replacement with original floors and quarters. The bottom of the car appears original and has not been undercoated. The exterior chrome is about 90% new. The interior is stock white standard vinyl (code D6). It has also been restored at some point. It's very well kept with no rips. cracks or tears. It has a "T" code 200 engine which is quite rare in a fastback. It runs and drives very well. The previous owner installed an vintage aluminum Offenhauser intake with three one barrel carbs. It has a custom header with split dual exhaust. It's been dressed up with a custom chrome valve cover and a chrome air cleaners. It's an original 3-speed manual transmission (code 1). The compartment is clean and was painted in a gloss black. It's got good clutch grab. The suspension is stock and feel good. It has stock drum brakes and stops well. The styled steel wheels hubcaps are brand new. Overall. the Mustang is a great driver. Mustang Fastbacks are at a premium and nice rust bodies are hard to find. Keep the neat six or convert it to a V8 down road! Not looking for trades at this time!! About UsClassic & Collectible Cars was established in 1982 in North Las Vegas by Larry Nicholl. Larry had recently retired after 22 years of military service in the US Air Force. Along with his four sons. he specialized in sale of classic Mustang parts. restoration and the sale of collector cars. This business grew and relocated to Las Vegas and became the most recognized and respected Mustang shop in Southern Nevada. In 1986. Larry sold the Mustang parts and restoration end of the business and began to focus primarily in the sales and appraising of all types of classic and special interest automobiles. He built a facility on Arville Street near Tropicana. to house the newly directed Classic & Collectible Cars. He continued to operate in this facility for several years until its sale of the building in the mid 1990s. By this time. his sons had left the business to pursue other interests and the shop had shrunk to a manageable. one man operation. In 1997. Michael Nicholl proposed to take over the business and resurrect the Classic & Collectible Cars name. The focus would be same – to buy. sell and appraise classic and special interest automobiles. At the time. the internet was an emerging marketplace. Michael saw the opportunity to begin to market and sell collector cars in a new way. With an established reputation. Classic & Collectible Cars grew quickly. Today. Classic & Collectible Cars maintains a 25-30 car inventory and has enjoyed good sales even through today’s challenging times. We are proud to announce that we purchased our new Sirius Avenue location in 2013. It is has been completely renovated. The Classic & Collectible Cars business philosophy has proved to be a solid one. That is offer quality collector cars at affordable. market competitive prices.
