Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang - 408 Stroker - Richmond 5-Speed - 90% Restored I'm the second owner of this car. I've had it since 1997 and I did a full restoration. I carefully hand painted all underbody and suspension parts. I ordered every part you can order from the catalogs. Perfect upholstery with new foam and springs all around. New headliner in perfect condition. Never mind the dust. Perfect body panels with no dents. no rust. floorpans are perfect. Some parts need some TLC at this point because the car has been stored for several years. All flaws and conditions of parts are listed below with amounts I've invested in parenthesis where known. Overall I invested over $20. 00 in the car. and well over $8. 00 in engine parts. Since the restoration it has sat in storage for a few years so the paint needs work. an engine tuneup is required. etc. I'm selling this car ONLY because I will be attending a web development course in June. I'm recently engaged and I need the cash to invest in our future. I planned to keep it forever. but sometimes a guy has to do what he has to do. Here's A Video Of The First Test Drive: Test Drive Video Richmond 5-Speed Transmission ($2. 00) Doug Nash Shifter ($580) 408 Stroker (351 Windsor block) Fully Rebuilt ($8. 00+ Invested In Engine) Aluminum Victor Jr. Heads ($1. 00) Balanced and Blueprinted Over 550 hp Davis Unified Ignition System ($280) and MSD ($270) With Rev Limitor Lakewood Shatter Proof Bell Housing ($790) Tri-Core Aluminum Radiator ($300+) Aluminum Pulleys Carbon Kevlar Shelby Style Front Fenders. Hood. Valance Xenon Headlights ($140) Front Disc Brakes 1-1/8" Front Sway Bar ($180) Full Performance Suspension Overhaul. Extra Stiff Springs. Shocks. Extra Stiff Leaf Springs. Front and Rear Sway Bars. etc. ($2. 00+) Hundreds of Hours of Labor!! Just needs paint touch ups (body panels are in flawless condition NO dents). a few finishing parts in the interior (kick panels. glove box). and a tune up with fresh fluids and this car will run strong and make you proud! The engine was tuned up and started on two occasions. Since then. life has had some curveballs so the car has been stored. The engine is built by Hammer Racing Engines in Bloomfield. NM and it is not a mild rebuild. It is very powerful and not for the amateur driver. The Richmond 5-speed. the engine parts. the suspension. the exhaust. all have just 20 miles on them since being ordered brand new from the catalogs. The exhaust is custom made 3" with cutouts. aluminum headers. and Flowmasters.   It is quite loud and has a lot of muscle. It has never been raced. In fact. it has only been on two test drives down the street at a mild pace since the engine is still low mileage.   Any Questions. Just Ask! (949) 484-3095 (text messages okay) I will respond promptly to help you make your decision. NOTES: Buyer pays for transport. A deposit of $1. 00 is due within 24 hours of end of auction or car will go to second bidder. Car is sold in as-is condition. On Feb-05-15 at 11:34:34 PST. seller added the following information:NOTES: Car does not come with a battery. Distributor needs to be reset for timing to be accurate at your altitude. I'd highly suggest changing ALL fluids the oil. oil filter. radiator fluid. It would be a great idea to Engine was built and installed in 2006. Car has been garage kept since 1997. Unfortunately. it has been outside for the past year and is a bit dusty. It will need a new paint job if you want it to look perfect. Some spots need paint touch ups. All things considered. it's not perfect anymore but it's still a fantastic car with a lot of love and hard work invested!!On Feb-05-15 at 11:39:16 PST. seller added the following information:* ^ Above note should say "It would be a good idea to. " remove the valve covers and take a look. change spark plugs. etc. The engine has been started every 3 months so there is no damage to any parts and it will run. But you will have to spend a little time getting it timed. adding a battery. and such. On Feb-06-15 at 10:58:27 PST. seller added the following information:MORE NOTES: More new parts installed during restoration that I forgot to mention. All side and rear windows are tinted. All new wiring harnesses. Rear seat / trunk divider. The gauge cluster has been fully restored with new bulbs and wiring on the backside. The front cluster cover was ordered new from the catalog. All of the windows have been replaced including front windshield. side glass. and rear glass with new cranks. rollers. etc. They work well. The power windows just need to be connected to the switches and the door panels need to be installed. New seat foam and springs with new upholstery. The seats are still in fantastic shape! New gas tank. ALL suspension parts were replaced with a kit during restoration. I will include new. unused rear springs from the catalog in the trunk of the car. Xenon headlights and GT fog lights new from catalog. 9" rear end with 3. 73 gears New dash. I literally ordered everything you can order for the interior during restoration. Knobs. carpet. etc. It'm mostly there and any missing items are visible in the photos. Please check back for the new pics because we just cleaned all of the dust off! NEW Pics Will Be Uploaded Tonight! Check back to view them. I will upload some fresh pics of the interior. dash cluster. door panels. engine compartment. sides of car. and underneath. The car had some AC parts but I'd recommend just adding an AC kit with new parts from a catalog. At this point. the AC would need work/parts to be functional. The dash is in great condition with no cracks. No radio. If there is anything else I can help with. please let me know! Happy bidding. James
