Description of 1986 Ford E-Series Van

This is a 1986 Ford E350 4x4 conversion van with a 460ci big block and C6 Auto trans. Pathfinder industries conversion with full interior (not a bare work van). This is listed as a project as I purchased this from State Farm after it had an engine fire. This will come with a salvage title. This appears to have had a possible fuel leak at the intake manifold and ignited. This fire must has smoldered out as NO EXTINGUSHER dust was used to put the fire out. The main items effected were pictured in the gallery. This van will need carb, harness, wires, hoses, dash, dash components, windshield, paint the cowl, and I am sure I am missing something. The interior does not smell like smoke and once the sun visors and overhead console and small area of carpet on the driver side engine dog house are cleaned up or replaced the sings of a fire/smoke would eliminated. The 4 Flexsteel captains chairs look great. All the window trim, blinds and curtains are nice. The van was loaded with power windows, locks,Air conditioning, tilt, cruise, battery isolator and 110v plug, trailer brakes and even had an altimeter gauge and a vacuum gauge. It has manual locking hubs and a manual shift transfer case. The body is all original and for a 1986 is pretty clean. The passenger door has a little damage on the upper post and a small door ding. The door ding can be paint less dent removed. The right quarter has a small dent between the wheel well and the right slider door. The driver fender is missing the "350" emblem. The lights and trim are all good. The Warn front bumper has a couple dents but still represents well. All doors open and close nicely. The tilt column is nice and looks to be damage free. The 4WD van is equipped with a Warn industries bumper and 12K pound winch. The slotted mags have some pitting but I believe a little effort would go a long way in cleaning them up. The tags were current on the Van and the Air had been retrofitted in 2016 so it appears the van did not have a long sitting period prior or after the fire. These vans are hard to find and the older square body vans like this one are even harder to find. This van was clearly a well loved vehicle and not beat to death. I believe with a little effort this van could be saved and provide many more years of enjoyment.Let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them. Thanks for viewing.
