Description of 1926 Ford Model T

Always doing some improvement or addition to this car: See images. If you need something to keep you out of your "spouse's" hair, this is it. Fun as hell. Great running car. Electric starter or starts easily by crank. 1926-27 era with the far more durable engine-transmission unit. Many upgrades for drivability. New upholstery and paint is very good. Lots of fun around town. Embossed tin ceiling headliner, as in our historic home: Tin Lizzie deserves a Tin Ceiling. So much fun. Negotiable, to an extent, on price. Very unique. All original steel; all rust free.
Runs on alternator-battery (conventional ignition with distributor). Craig Davies electric water pump on dash breaker with electric fan, and all the parts to put it back to stock cooling, if for some reason you'd want to. Auto Meter Temp and Volt gauge - vintage style. No smoke - runs like a very good Model T. External oiler on engine delivering to No. 1 rod.Tires excellent. Spoke wheels redone not long ago and very tight and nice. Starts quickly. Runs smooth. Top new in June or so of last year. 12Volt system with new battery and 12V conversion. Ford steps on running boards. New Mascot and cap on radiator.
Much in the way of extra parts. Includes another transmission with new kevlar bands and oil slinger on flywheel (some day I was going to change out the hogshead and flywheel, but they operate great, and bands have a lot of life left in them); another complete rear end that works perfectly; straight, OEM front axle and perches and spindles; 3 extra split rims; correct spokes; extra wood wheel; a rebuilt starter wth extra bendix; and just a whole bunch of other stuff - some new and some used and serviceable. I mean, a Whole Bunch of new items that go with the car. (A couple of months ago we bought out an A & T mechanic's supplies and have sold off most of the A stuff - see our closed listings - and kept nearly all the T.
We drive it everywhere. This is a great car.
