Let us start by saying: this T-bird is probably one of the most heavily documented vehicles we have owned. Originally sold out of Indiana 57 years ago, the previous owner of this T-Bird bought the car out of Adrian, MI back in 2002 from a private owner. From that year until about 2010 he had meticulously (and we mean meticulously) restored the car back to OEM. Over $80k has been put into this car (take a look at the documentation pictures).

The restoration began in 2002 with a list of 66 points of issues needing to be addressed and replaced (again, this you can see point-by-point in the documentation). In 2003 the powertrain was gone through and rebuilt. From 2003 to 2010 little things were added here and there to restore the car back to OEM, similar to the punch list executed back in 2002. However, in 2010 the car was taken to a local shop in Farmington, MI and taken down to bare metal and painted the original, soft powder blue you see today. Next, the shop installed a new interior, which still shows great after the past 8 years of use.

Included in the sale are:

- 1 massive binder full of photos of the car from when the previous owner bought it, all the way through to completion of the
restoration.
- 1 massive binder of every receipt from every part put into the car is laminated.

Under the hood is a #'s matching 390ci bored .30 over! The 390ci is connected to the #'s matching 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Additionally, this 61' is equipped with power brakes, power steering, and power windows!
