Very cool custom Fairlane 500 Fastback. This car has not been restored. It has no show chrome, no fancy sound system, or air conditioning. It is a cool car that kind of resembles a stock car on the outside. Custom items include, custom rear spoiler fabricated from steel, and welded. Front clearance lights and turn signals were relocated to front bumper, and new sheet metal was fabricated and welded i, to fill area where turn signals were. . Front and rear bumper bolts were welded to bumper and bolted to frame, to give it a cleaner look. Notched front shock towers, and installed newly rebuilt 460 big block, and tight C6 auto tranny. Floor boards were ground clean, and coated with bed liner. New carpet paddin, and carpet was installed. Custom rear louvers were hand fabricated by me to give it a unique look . In 69 there was no option for rear louvers, so I just made my ow, and used Mustang louver hinges. There is some skim coat filler where fabrication and welded pieces were done. This car is not a show queen. It draws a lot of looks and runs very well. The interior is in great condition, and the doors have new seals and rubber in them. The doors shut very solid with no catches or clunks. New tires on all four corners. This car is quiet on the inside with no rattles when you hit a bump. I worked on this car for 3 years, and thought it would be my last hot rod. But, I am a truck guy and have since bought a 48 F1 Ford truck.
