1991 FORD RANGER CUSTOM STX/XLT CONVERTIBLE PICKUP1 OF 14 BUILT IN 1991...MOST LIKELY THE ONLY ONE LEFT IN THIS CONDITION!!VERY LOW MILES -7500 AS OF TODAY!AIR BLOWS ICE COLD, WAS CONVERTED FROM R12 TO THE NEW R134a COOLANT 5-18-15!! New AC condenser added 08-17-17THIS IS A FULLY LOADED 4X4 EXTENDED CAB RANGER PICKUP THAT WAS PROFESSIONALLY CONVERTED INTO A CONVERTIBLE PICKUP AND SOLD THROUGH FORD DEALERSHIPSI HAVE HAD THE TRUCK FOR TEN YEARS BUT I HAVE NOT DRIVEN IT MUCH IN THE PAST FOUR YEARSI TOOK IT OUT TODAY FROM HEATED COVERED STORAGE AND IT DRIVES AS NEW...NO PROBLEMS AT ALLPLEASE CHECK OUT ALL PHOTOS AND IF INTERESTED IN MORE PICTURES I WILL SEND YOU A LINK TO MY SHUTTERFLY ALBUMSIF YOU DRIVE THIS PICKUP YOU WILL BUY THIS PICKUPNO ONE ELSE WILL HAVE ONE SO EXPECT A LOT OF LOOKS!!I HAVE ORIGINAL PHOTOS SHOWING THE COMPLETE CONVERSION OF THIS PICKUP FROM THE BUILDER...I ALSO HAVE A RARE ORIGINAL SALES BROCHURE I have had several requests for pictures and tire size on this truck. Please note that this is one of less than 14 examples commissioned by the Ford Motor Company.With less than 7,500 miles from new, this custom convertible pickup truck is nicely optioned with a five speed manual transmission, custom wheels, driving lights, and every power option. Original dealer brochure. Update!!! Got this info from someone responding to the listing....so it may be correct and the info that was given to me and printed in auction catalogs was wrong! I am posting this as a possible correction until proven wrong. Marc "Just for reference, these trucks were not built by ASC, they were developed and built by Bob Kaiser and my father at a company called Professional Auto Crafters. Also, they were not commissioned by Ford but rather they were built as a privately funded short run and pitched to Ford as a third party conversion to be sold on Ford dealer lots. (very much the same as ASC did with the Mustang, Dakota, Camaro, Etc.) Ford passed on the concept and that was the end of the SkyRanger and Professional Auto Crafters."
