Celebrity Cars is pleased to offer this one of a kind 68 Dynacorn Mustang fastback. The entire body is steel and is a replacement body shell. It is titled as a 2016 Special Construction VIN issued by the state of California.
Build, body fabrication and paint by Best of Show Coachwork's. Custom front air dam with splitter, canards and fog light/air ports for front brake cooling. Custom rear diffuser. Custom functional side air scoops for rear brake cooling. Custom side skirts with exhaust ports. Wheel well flares to accommodate Shelby 17"x10" & 17"x12" wheels. Custom engine compartment/Firewall work to set 3/4 engine weight behind front wheel axis and to accommodate the struts.
800 + hp Engine: Ford 351 W Dart with twin inner cooled turbos. Machine work, balanced & blue printed by Evans Speed Shop. Build and Dynamiter testing Lee Performance Products Inc.Engine built with: 4340 lightning forged crankshaft / 3.75 stroke, Carrillo 6.2 rods, Race Tech 4.1 bore Pistons / thermal barrier coating, Clevite rod bearings, Crower #F7136 camshaft & lifters, Manton series 3 pushrods, C3 Yates cylinder heads ported & polished with Manley valves, MSD distributor & wires, 5 stage Barnes oil pump, custom Billet intake manifold and throttle body, hi flow water pump, custom Moroso valve covers with spring oilers, Simens injectors, 2 Garrett 41041-0034 LP mod .7 tan turbo chargers, LP inner coolers, 14 psi waste gate, Bosh module, Autronic engine management system with harness. Suspension: RRS 3 link rear suspension 65/66 9" housing, 31 spline posi level 3 rear end assembly with modular iron case, aluminum Daytona pinion support, Cryogenic treated debured gear set, Billet Yoke. RRS phase 3 coil over struts with spherical bearings and adjustable strut rods, Control Freak tubular lower control arms, RRS power steering rack. RRS race front and rear sway bars.
Brakes: RRS phase 7 front brakes - 345 mm two piece rotors with 6 piston calipers.RRS RD4 rear brakes - disc/drum rotors with 6 piston calipers. Electric high power master cylinder with remote reservoir.
Safety: Trans Am spec full body Roll cage, Exterior battery kill switch, front & rear tow points, ATL Super Cell 200 series 32 gal. 3 door surge fuel tank, 5 liter AFFF SFI Fire suppression system, Sparco 8 pt. double shoulder harness for Corbeau seats.
This car was designed to tbe able to take this car to autocross, road course, drag strip or salt flats and have respectable times at each with minimal adjustments.
