Description of 1957 Ford Fairlane

I have decided to sell my 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop. This is a very solid car with its original floors, floor braces, body mounts, inner rockers etc. The frame is also very solid with perfect cross members. The vehicle was painted its original colors, a few years ago and the paint is in excellent condition. The original colors are Inca Gold and Raven Black.
The 1957 Fairlane is mostly original except for a few small upgrades for reliability and comfort. These upgrades include; electric 2 speed wipers, aluminum Giffin radiator with overflow and a Cd player mounted in a removable center console.
The chrome and stainless is in good condition except for the hood emblem which seems to be original and has a few pits. The original locks are still operable also.
The vehicle runs and drives very well and could be taken anywhere without hesitation. The 292 cubic Inch Y block looks and sounds great and is backed by an original automatic transmission. All of the gauges still work and seem accurate.
It still uses the factory 4 wheel manual drum brakes. The brakes work very well in all driving conditions. My wife drove this car last year to and from cruise nights and never had any issues. The tires are older bias ply's mounted on the original wheels with the correct hub caps.
This is a very reliable and solid vehicle that can be driven anywhere.
I will help with arranging shipping and can store the car until it is picked up.
