Description of 1927 Ford Model T Roadster

Handbuilt 1927 Ford Track T Roadster. Exceptional build quality with many unique one off parts and details. This is not a bolt together kit car from Speedway! This is a hand fabricated custom built hot rod with 100's of hours time invested into it.
Frame/Suspension:
  • The custom frame was professionally built from 2x4 rectangular steel. An off the shelf frame would not give give the car the look and stance that was desired.
  • Dropped tube front axle with hairpins and disc brakes.
  • Banjo rear axle from 1948 Mercury with open driveline conversion located with hairpins.
  • Transverse Model T rear buggy spring.
  • Cowl Steering with Schroder Steering box
  • Wheels are American Racing Salt Flats with Custom made adaptors to run Original Halibrand knockoffs.

Body:
  • Fiberglass main body with steel reinforcement.
  • Custom made steel bed that houses a fabricated aluminum fuel tank with site glass gauge.
  • Complete belly pan with louvers that attaches with DZUS fasteners for easy access.
  • Custom made 4 pc. steel hood
  • Very nice paint. Some small chips here and there from driving, but overall excellent.

Interior:
  • Adjustable aluminum buckets covered in red vinyl
  • Lokar shifter
  • Engine Turned dash with curved glass Stewart Warner gauges
  • Color matched seat belts
  • Quick release Bell 4 spoke steering wheel

Engine:
  • Built 151 cid 4 cyl Chevy II Motor.
  • Completely rebuilt with less than 5,000 miles on it.
  • 327 V8 Pistons.
  • Transmission is a TH350 Automatic.
  • Clifford Polished Aluminum Intake.
  • Weber Carburetor with hand fabricated breather scoop.
  • Polished Aluminum Valve Cover.
  • Header with Borla exhaust - Sounds Great!
  • Plenty of power to move this lightweight car.

This is a very nice, turn key car that shows very well. It was finished about 8 years ago so it does have a few road chips here and there. As expected, there is also a small amount of wear in the interior from driving it. The attention to detail and quality of the build make this car really stand out. The original build cost of the car was nearly $30k. It is not a thrown together "T-Bucket"!
The roadster has a clear MO title and is titled as a 1927 FORD Model T. The car belongs to my father, but I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the car.
Located just south of downtown St. Louis, MO. Seriously interested buyers may call me at 314-393-6814. I strongly encourage any potential buyers to see the car in person
