Description of 1957 Ford F-100 Short Stepside Bed Fridgetruck California Custom

You are looking at a 1957 Ford F-100 Short Bed step side Big Back window Pick Up Truck that has the right "Hot Rod Look" The body is straight and solid with a "Old Red Primer Patina" paint job. It starts, drives and stops well. It has a 302 V8 Crate engine with very low miles, tuned up with Motor Craft Distributor and Napa Coil. New Water pump, 12V Push Fan, and Aluminum Radiator keeps this truck cool. Edelbrock 4brl Carb with electric choke, Polished intake and matching chrome dress up. The V8 has dual exhaust that exits out the under side of the bed. The Automatic Transmission shifts well with a gear selecton made using a custom 32" Tall floor shifter.
New 12v Battery, Alternator, and wiring.
The Drum brakes were bled and adjusted and rubber brake lines were replaced. It rides on 15" Steel Rims and L78 Fat White Wall tires and Bullet Caps. Flipped Leaf springs with dropped I-Beam front suspension. C-Notched in the rear with a air bagged 9in... Very Low! Handles like a old pick-up, that said it goes straight down the road. Very nice one year only chrome grill, C10 front bumper.
The interior is very comfortable with a Blue Vinyl Bench Seat, white Door Panels and Dash, no headliner. The Stock Gauges dont function because they arent hooked up, Just used the added under dash Gauges including temp, volts, oil pressure. The original Ford back glass and door windows are not installed and not included. I have the window regulators and they are included. Newer windshield. Dummy wippers dont work just there for CA regulations, no seat belts or heater...
Overall just a solid old hot rod truck, See pics!!!
In a nut shell this is a one of a kind classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality car rather it was built as a fun truck for someone to just enjoy as a nice driver or take it to shows not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool truck. Any and every-time I drive this truck I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in!
This is a California Truck and always has been to the best of my knowledge. It is a driver with clear CA title.
