you are looking at a 1965 ford mustang that was purchased from california and brought to pennsylvania because I wanted a clean original car to restore because I absolutely hate rust and didnt want some car which was pieced together from a bunch of patch panels and welded in floors etc. this car was it, a high desert car with all original unrusted ford floors which are definitely the first thing to rust in these cars.I got the car and sent it to country classics in aliquippa pa. which specializes in very early ford mustangs and told them I wanted it completely restored and this is the result.the following was done:engine: ford 289 completely rebuilt with new bearings rods and mains,new cam and lifters,new cam bearings,new rings,new freeze plugs,new timing chain kit, heads redone,all the machine work for heads and block,new engine gasket kit,new water pump,new thermostat,new plugs,wires,cap,rotor,points,condenser,new alternator,new starter,new starter solenoid,new regulator,all new belts, hoses,clamps,battery terminals,battery wires,battery etc. dual exhaust: new h pipe,intermediate pipes,mufflers,tailpipes,and trumpets. steering: new steering hoses high pressure return and control valve hoses, new center link, new control valve, new steering cylinder, new tie rods, new stabilizer links, new sway bar bushings, new upper and lower control arms, new coil springs. suspension: new leaf springs,new shackles,new u bolts,new KONI adjustable shocks. rear end: completely rebuilt with new gaskets,bearings,seals,etc. brakes: new power booster,new master cylinder,new proportioning valve,new lines,new drums,new shoes,new spring kits,new self adjuster kits,new wheel cylinders,new brake hoses,clips,bolts,etc. fuel: new fuel pump,new fuel lines,new gas tank,new sending unit,rebuilt carb. transmission: new lines,filter,gaskets modulator valve,fluid,u-joints exterior chrome:new bumpers front and rear,new tail lights,new gas cap,new quarter ornaments,new rocker mouldings, new exhaust trumpets, new reverse lights, new grill parts, new emblems. interior: new package tray,new carpet,new seat side chrome, new kick panels, new door panels, new armrest pads,new door handles,new dash pad,new speaker,new heater duct work,new heater core,new heater plenum,new trans selector cover,new turn signal lever,new instrument cluster bezel and glass,new ignition switch,rebuilt shifter,new weatherstripping, wheels:original wheels with new tires.and much much more.just look at the pictures.this car has power steering and power brakes and the really rare split bench seat.it is painted in the original color vintage burgandy.this restoration has over 30,000 invested in it,look at all the large pics and just e-mail me with any questions. search words 1964,1965,1966,1967,1968,1969,1970,1971,1972,1973,mustang,mach1,mach 1,shelby,restomod,pro street,pro touring,hot rod,custom,cougar,fastback,coupe,notchback,cheap,good deal,no reserve,ford,lincoln,mercury,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,boss 302,boss 429,cobra jet,super cobra jet 260,289,302,351,390,427,428,429,460 restored |
