Description of 1953 Ford F-100

1953 Ford F100 Short Bed Pickup. This is an original 1953 Ford Pickup. I have a clear Utah Title in my name. The keys are in the ignition switch. I purchased this pickup with the intention of completing a restoration. I've decided to restore an old British sports car and I need to sell the Ford Truck. This truck has a good frame and is almost complete. It is missing the seat, but come with almost all additional parts. I have had the engine running, but it had starter motor problems. I removed the starter and had it professionally rebuilt. I have notreinstalled the starter. The truck was converted to 12 Volt, and has a unique, period correct, tachometer. At this point in my life, I'm 77 years old, I need to focus on my other project. Based on thecondition, the starting bid is only $1000. If no one else bids, you will own the truck for that price. Please look at my Ebay feedback score. I have over 1000 positive feedbacks and no negatives. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are bidding on. With this in mind, I will detail the problem areas of my 1953 Ford F100Short Bed: 1. It needs a complete restoration. There is rust in the floors at the bottom of thetow board. This problem has caused the passenger's side door to sag. It comes with a spare rear fender. In preparation for the restoration, I removed the fenders and loosened the cab bolts. The fenders and cab are secured for shipping. The same is true for the grill and front valance. It is missing the tailgate. I will secure all of the spare parts in boxes and tie-downs for shipping. 2. It is missing both front and rear windshields. The door glass is in place. There are several aftermarket catalogs that come with the truck, and almost everything for the Ford 100 is available. For me, the search for parts in a fun part of the old car hobby. 3. There are several dents in the fenders. The truck is made of heavy steel and most of the dents can be pounded out, but it would be less expensive to just replace the fenders. The truck comes with all of the spare parts - fender, valance, bumper, starter motor, etc. 4. The bed wood is dry and splintered, and needs to be replaced. Again, several catalogs list the oak wood, the bed strips and the attaching hardware. I know the engine runs and is okay, but I've not driven the the truck since I purchased it. I'm not sure of the brakes, clutch, andrear end. The previous owner said it ran good, but it has not been on the road for several years. Again, please look closely at the photos. If you have any questions about my 1953 Ford F100, please give me a call. My name is Bob and my phone number is (801) 745-5835. I've been an Ebay member since 2006. If you have fewer than five (5) positivefeedbacks on Ebay, please message me or give me a call before bidding. I want this to be a good, straightforward, auction. I will assist the shipper you select in shipping the truck anywhere in the world. Good luck bidding.

I've boxed the professionally rebuilt starter motor, extra headlight Chrome rims, and the original tailgate chains and placed them in the cab. All of the spare parts will be boxed and placed in the cab. The extra rear fender, the original front valance, and larger parts will be secured in the bed. Again, if you have any questions about my Ford F100, don't hesitate togive me a call.
