Description of 1940 Ford Other Pickups

Professionally built 1940 Ford with 350/345 HP crate motor for lots of power with an Edlebrock 4 barrel carb and aluminum heads. “Street Rod Corner” Radiator with electric fan c/w temp sensor or manual switch. Frame is boxed and reinforced/braced to handle the 345 HP and painted to match the body color. Wheels are American Racing with 205 60R 15’s on the front and 235 60 R 17’s on the rear for a great stance. TPI-TECH gauges showing 1122. 6 miles on the odometer. Oil pressure gauge is not working and I am not certain if it is the sending unit or the gauge but it is practically a new engine with no issues at all. Front end is TCI Mustang II with power steering for easy handling. Under floor power brakes master to keep the firewall clean and uncluttered. Fronts are disc and the rear are drums. The vehicle does not have a heater or air conditioning. It is not winter driven so no heat requirements and this far north air conditioning is not a necessity. Rear end is 9” Ford and suspension is leaf springs/shocks. The interior is a brown cloth upholstery/headliner and the dash is stock with some holes that are not currently used up for anything. There is an aerial installed at the front of the box but no evidence of a radio or sound system. Steering column has a tilt wheel for easy access and driving preference. Exterior finish is endure “champagne” on the body and fenders /running boards finished in taupe for a very classy overall look. The steel is straight and the finish is great but there are normal wear scratches and a few small stone chips. There is spare paint in both colors that will go with the truck for touch ups. Deluxe chrome grill/headlight rims. “blue dot” tail lights and a reflector strip above the license plate.
