Description of 1972 Ford F-100 CUSTOM EDITION

My Grandfather was the original owner of this 1972 Ford F-100 and it was his pride and joy!! The truck runs and is all original!! It's been garage kept since it's been owned and it's now at my In-Laws in Houston in their garage. My Grandfather added Air Conditioning to the truck since he originally lived in Tucson Arizona during his life. The body DOES NOT HAVE ANY DAMAGE AND HAS NO RUST!! My Grandpa added the rails to the truck (that you can remove) and it comes with the original spare wheel with a newer tire. We just put new tires on the girl within the last year. With the exception of loading it on the U-haul trailer to bring it from Hallettsville TX to Cypress Texas and an occasional tour of the neighborhood the truck is not driven often. My Father in Law starts the vehicle once per month and keeps the battery charged. My Grandpa bequeathed this truck to my Son who is now selling it for tuition money to finish his education at Texas Tech. This would be a great candidate for a full restoration since it's ALL ORIGINAL and is in great shape!!
This Ford F-100 has a manual three-speed transmission (my Grandpa called it a "Three on a Tree") and has manual steering as well (or at least if feels like it...). This was the "CUSTOM" edition Ford F-100 and has very nice Brown paint with White Trim. The chrome looks great for a truck this old and there is no rust on the body. I remember my Grandpa driving this truck from Arizona to visit us in Birmingham Alabama in 1972 shortly after he purchased the truck. He also visited us in 1976 in Kenner Louisiana when we lived there. My Grandpa worked at Sears most of his life and would usually walk to work so I'm confident that the miles are the original miles. My Grandpa had a set of Gaskets for the motor that he never installed that will come with the truck. The radio is original, the interior is original, the paint is original - - - basically everything is original with the exception of the red oak racks that my Grandpa installed and the aftermarket Air Conditioner that he installed after he purchased the truck from a dealer in Seminole Texas back in 1972. My Grandpa was VERY FRUGAL and kept meticulous care of his stuff and drilled those same values into my Dad, Brother and me. This truck would be a builders dream since you are starting with a very clean and well kept slate. I have seen this fully restored "Custom F-100" version of this truck selling anywhere between $25,000 and $27,000 in the US Market. My Father-In-Law is available to show this truck to potential buyers by appointment and lives in Houston Texas near the intersection of Barker Cypress and Logenbaugh.
